Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy appealed to Union Jal Shakti Minister Sri CR Patil to allocate Rs 10,000 crore for the prestigious Musi Riverfront Development project under National Rivers Conservation Plan. The Chief Minister briefed the Union Minister about the government’s plans envisaged for Musi River Development project on a 55 km stretch which is being taken up for the first time in the country on such a big scale.
The Chief Minister called on Union Ministers Sri CR Patil, Sri Hardeep Singh Puri and Sri Prahlad Joshi in Delhi on Monday. The CM brought to the notice of the Union Ministers various development related issues in the official meeting.
CM Revanth Reddy told the Jal Shakti Minister that the state government decided to clean river Musi which was filled with dirty water and emanated foul smell in Hyderabad. The Chief Minister appealed to Patil to extend central assistance to Musi cleaning project, construction of flood water canals, raising the level and beautification of the river. As the Center is planning for the conservation and development of rivers in the Deccan Plateau under the National River Conservation Plan, the CM urged the Union Minister to allocate Rs 4,000 crore for the Musi cleaning project. The Union Minister is also requested to sanction Rs 6,000 crore for the construction of reservoirs to fill Osman Sagar and Himayat Sagar water bodies in Hyderabad with river Godavari water. The CM said that the famous two water bodies will quench the thirst of Hyderabad and also rejuvenate the Musi River by filling them with Godavari water.
Release Rs. 16,100 Crore Jal Shakti Funds
CM Revanth Reddy appealed to CR Patil to release funds to Telangana under the Jal Jeevan Mission. According to 2019 statistics, 77.60 percent of the houses are getting tap water and the recent survey conducted by the state government disclosed that 7.85 lakh houses are deprived of safe drinking water supply through the tap connection. The Chief Minister informed the Union Minister that it required Rs 16,100 crore to provide tap water connections to the 7.85 lakh houses along with the houses constructed under PMAY (Urban ) and Rural.
The CM brought to the notice of the Union Minister non release of funds to the state till date though the Jal Jeevan Mission which was launched in 2019 and requested to release the funds from this year promptly. Deputy Chief Minister Sri Bhatti Vikramarka, State Irrigation Minister Sri N Uttam Kumar Reddy, Khammam MP Sri Ramasahayam Raghurami Reddy, Rajya Sabha Member Sri Anil Kumar Yadav, Chief Minister’s Secretary Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy, Telangana Bhavan Resident Commissioner Sri Gaurav Uppal are also present.
Supply of Cooking Gas Cylinder at Rs. 500
CM Revanth Reddy appealed to Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Sri Hardeep Singh Puri to provide a facility to pay Rs.500 gas supply subsidy to Oil Marketing Companies (OMC) in advance in Telangana. The CM met the Petroleum Minister in the Parliament.
The Chief Minister explained to the Union Minister that his government launched a cooking gas cylinder supply for Rs.500 as part of the Mahalakshmi scheme and requested the state to pay the subsidy in advance to the OMCs. The gas agencies were already requested to supply a gas cylinder for Rs.500 by paying the subsidy amount in advance but the supplying companies did not respond positively. At present, the consumers are getting subsidy only after paying the full amount for the cylinder and it created problems for the poor beneficiaries, the CM said urging the Union Minister to instruct the OMCs to accept their demand for the payment of the subsidy on gas cylinders in advance. This facility will help the consumers to buy gas cylinders by paying only Rs 500 and reduce financial burden on them. If that is not possible, the Chief Minister requested the Petroleum Minister to ensure that the subsidy paid by the government is received within 48 hours to the consumers. Release pending dues
CM Revanth Reddy urged Union Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Sri Prahlad Joshi to immediately release the pending dues regarding paddy procurement and rice supply. The CM told Joshi that the centre kept pending the release of Rs 1,468.94 crore subsidy amount in respect of the procurement of additional levy during the Kharif season in 2014-15. The CM reminded that all the related documents have also been submitted to the central government and release all pending dues. The Chief Minister also requested the Minister to release Rs 343.27 crore pending dues with regard to the supply of 89,987 metric tonnes of rice under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana from May 2021 to March 2022 by confirming the orders.
The Chief Minister urged the Civil Supplies Minister to immediately release the pending dues of Rs 79.09 crores related to rice distributed under Non-NFSA (National Food Security Act) from May 2021 to March 2022.

తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వ ప్రతిష్టాత్మకంగా చేపడుతున్న మూసీ రివర్ ఫ్రంట్ డెవలప్మెంట్కు జాతీయ నది పరిరక్షణ ప్రణాళిక కింద రూ.పది వేల కోట్లు కేటాయించాలని జల్శక్తి మంత్రి శ్రీ సి.ఆర్. పాటిల్కు ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. హైదరాబాద్ నగరంలో 55 కిలోమీటర్ల మేర ప్రవహిస్తున్న మూసీ నదిని దేశంలో మరెక్కడ లేని విధంగా తీర్చిదిద్దేందుకు రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం దృష్టి పెట్టిందని కేంద్ర మంత్రికి ముఖ్యమంత్రి వివరించారు. ఢిల్లీలో కేంద్ర మంత్రులు శ్రీ సి.ఆర్.పాటిల్, శ్రీ హర్ దీప్ సింగ్ పూరీ, శ్రీ ప్రహ్లాద్ జోషిలను ముఖ్యమంత్రి సోమవారం కలిశారు. రాష్ట్రానికి సంబంధించిన వివిధ అంశాలను వారి దృష్టికి తీసుకెళ్లారు.
హైదరాబాద్ నగరంలోని మురికి నీరు అంతా మూసీలో చేరుతోందని, దానిని శుద్ధి చేసేందుకు రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం సంకల్పించిందని జల్శక్తి మంత్రి శ్రీ సి.ఆర్.పాటిల్కు ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి తెలిపారు. మూసీలో చేరే మురికి నీరును శుద్ధి చేయడం, వరద నీటి కాల్వల నిర్మాణం, స్థాయి పెంపు, మూసీ సుందరీకరణకు సహకరించాలని కేంద్ర మంత్రిని ముఖ్యమంత్రి కోరారు. జాతీయ నది పరిరక్షణ ప్రణాళిక కింద దక్కన్ పీఠభూమిలోని నదుల పరిరక్షణ, అభివృద్ధికి కేంద్రం యోచిస్తున్నందున మూసీలో కలిసే మురికి నీటి శుద్ధి పనులకు రూ.4 వేల కోట్లు కోట్లు కేటాయించాలని కోరారు. గోదావరి జలాలను ఉస్మాన్ సాగర్, హిమాయత్ సాగర్లతో నింపేందుకు ఉద్దేశించిన ప్రాజెక్టులకు రూ.6 వేల కోట్లు కేటాయించాలని కేంద్ర మంత్రి సి.ఆర్.పాటిల్కు ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. ఈ రెండు చెరువులను గోదావరి నీటితో నింపితే హైదరాబాద్ నీటి ఇబ్బందులు తీరడంతో పాటు మూసీ నది పునరుజ్జీవనానికి తోడ్పడుతుందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి తెలిపారు.

జల్ జీవన్ మిషన్ కింద తెలంగాణకు నిధులు విడుదల చేయాలని జల్శక్తి మంత్రి శ్రీ సి.ఆర్. పాటిల్కు ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. 2019 లెక్కల ప్రకారం జల్జీవన్ మిషన్ కింద రాష్ట్రంలో 77.60 శాతం ఇళ్లకు నల్లా నీరు అందుతోందని, ఇటీవల తాము చేపట్టిన సర్వేలో 7.85 లక్షల ఇళ్లకు నల్లా కనెక్షన్ లేదని తేలిందని వివరించారు. ఆ ఇళ్లతో పాటు పీఎంఏవై (అర్బన్), (రూరల్) కింద చేపట్టే ఇళ్లకు నల్లా కనెక్షన్లు ఇవ్వాల్సి ఉందని, ఇందుకు మొత్తంగా రూ.16,100 కోట్లు అవసరమవుతాయని కేంద్ర మంత్రికి ముఖ్యమంత్రి తెలియజేశారు. 2019లో జల్జీవన్ మిషన్ ప్రారంభించినా నేటి వరకు రాష్ట్రానికి నిధులు ఇవ్వలేదని, ఈ ఏడాది నుంచి నిధులు విడుదల చేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి కేంద్ర మంత్రిని కోరారు. ముఖ్యమంత్రి వెంట ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ భట్టి విక్రమార్క, రాష్ట్ర నీటి పారుదల శాఖ మంత్రి శ్రీ ఉత్తమ్ కుమార్రెడ్డి, ఖమ్మం ఎంపీ శ్రీ రామసహాయం రఘురామిరెడ్డి, రాజ్యసభ సభ్యుడు శ్రీ అనిల్ కుమార్ యాదవ్, ముఖ్యమంత్రి కార్యదర్శి శ్రీ చంద్రశేఖర్ రెడ్డి, ఢిల్లీలో తెలంగాణ భవన్ రెసిడెంట్ కమిషనర్ శ్రీ గౌరవ్ ఉప్పల్ ఉన్నారు.
రూ.500కే గ్యాస్ సిలిండర్ సరఫరాలో..
తెలంగాణలో రూ.500కే గ్యాస్ సరఫరాకు సంబంధించిన సబ్సిడీని ముందుగానే ఆయిల్ మార్కెటింగ్ కంపెనీలకు (ఓఎంసీ) చెల్లించే సదుపాయాన్ని కల్పించాలని పెట్రోలియం, సహజ వాయువుల శాఖ మంత్రి శ్రీ హర్దీప్ సింగ్ పూరీకి ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. కేంద్ర మంత్రి పూరీని పార్లమెంట్లోని ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి సోమవారం కలిశారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా మహాలక్ష్మి పథకంలో భాగంగా తమ ప్రభుత్వం రూ.500కే గ్యాస్ సిలిండర్ సరఫరా చేస్తున్న విషయాన్ని కేంద్ర మంత్రి దృష్టికి ముఖ్యమంత్రి తీసుకెళ్లారు. తాము ముందుగానే సబ్సిడీ చెల్లిస్తామని.. రూ.500కే గ్యాస్ సిలిండర్ సరఫరా చేయాలని గ్యాస్ ఏజెన్సీలను గతంలోనే కోరినా సానుకూలత వ్యక్తం కాలేదన్నారు. ప్రస్తుతం వినియోగదారులు సిలెండర్కు పూర్తిగా డబ్బులు చెల్లించిన తర్వాత సబ్సిడీ అందుతుండడంతో ఇబ్బందికరంగా ఉందన్నారు. గ్యాస్ సిలిండర్లకు చెందిన సబ్సిడీని ముందుగానే ఓఎంసీలకు చెల్లించేందుకు అవకాశం కల్పించాలని కేంద్ర మంత్రికి ముఖ్యమంత్రి విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. అలా చేస్తే వినియోగదారులు రూ.500 చెల్లించి సిలిండర్ తీసుకునే అవకాశం కలుగుతుందన్నారు. ముందుగానే రాయితీని తాము ఓఎంసీలకు చెల్లిస్తున్నందున ఎటువంటి ఇబ్బందులు ఉండవన్నారు. అలా వీలుకాని పక్షంలో వినియోగదారులకు తమ ప్రభుత్వం చెల్లించే సబ్సిడీని 48 గంటల్లోపు అందేలా చూడాలని కేంద్ర మంత్రిని ముఖ్యమంత్రి కోరారు. ముఖ్యమంత్రి వెంట ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ భట్టి విక్రమార్క, రాష్ట్ర నీటి పారుదల శాఖ మంత్రి శ్రీ ఉత్తమ్ కుమార్రెడ్డి, ముఖ్యమంత్రి కార్యదర్శి శ్రీ చంద్రశేఖర్ రెడ్డి, ఢిల్లీలో తెలంగాణ భవన్ రెసిడెంట్ కమిషనర్ శ్రీ గౌరవ్ ఉప్పల్ ఉన్నారు.

ధాన్యం సేకరణ, బియ్యం సరఫరాకు సంబంధించి కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ నుంచి రావల్సిన బకాయిలు వెంటనే విడుదల చేయాలని కేంద్ర ఆహార, పౌరసరఫరాల శాఖ మంత్రి శ్రీ ప్రహ్లాద్ జోషికి ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. కేంద్ర మంత్రిని ముఖ్యమంత్రి సోమవారం కలిశారు. 2014-15 ఖరీఫ్ కాలంలో అదనపు లెవీ సేకరణకు సంబంధించి రూ. 1468.94 కోట్ల రాయితీని పెండింగ్లో పెట్టారని కేంద్ర మంత్రికి ముఖ్యమంత్రి తెలియజేశారు. అందుకు సంబంధించిన అన్ని పత్రాలను కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వానికి సమర్పించామని గుర్తు చేశారు. అందువలన బకాయిపడిన ఆ మొత్తాన్ని విడుదల చేయాలని కేంద్ర మంత్రిని ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి కోరారు. ప్రధానమంత్రి గరీబ్ కళ్యాణ్ యోజన కింద 2021 మే నుంచి 2022 మార్చి వరకు సరఫరా చేసిన 89,987.730 మెట్రిక్ టన్నుల బియ్యానికి సంబంధించిన ఉత్తర్వులను ధ్రువీకరించుకొని అందుకు సంబంధించిన బకాయిలు రూ.343.27 కోట్లను విడుదల చేయాలని కేంద్ర మంత్రి పూరీని ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి కోరారు. అలాగే 2021 మే నుంచి 2022 మార్చి వరకు నాన్ ఎన్ఎఫ్ఎస్ఎ (నేషనల్ ఫుడ్ సెక్యూరిటీ యాక్ట్) కింద పంపిణీ చేసిన బియ్యానికి సంబంధించిన బకాయిలు రూ.79.09 కోట్లు వెంటనే విడుదల చేయాలని కేంద్ర మంత్రికి ముఖ్యమంత్రి విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు.
