CM Sri Revanth Reddy appeals to Union Home Minister Sri Amit Shah to release Rs 11,713.49 crore flood relief to Telangana state.

Chief Minister Sri A Revanth Reddy appealed to Union Minister of Home Affairs Amit Shah to release Rs.11,713.49 crores for the restoration and repairs of the damaged infrastructure due to recent very heavy rains in the Telangana state. The Chief Minister met with the Union Minister in Delhi on Monday.
The CM said that the torrential rains in Telangana between August 31 and September 8 caused huge damage to the state. The Chief Minister briefed the Union Minister that 37 people had lost their lives, and more than one lakh cattle and other domestic animals died during heavy rains. Crops have been damaged on 4.15 lakh acres and the roads, culverts, causeways, ponds and canals have also been breached.
CM Revanth Reddy informed Amit Shah about the restoration and repair works of the damaged infrastructure taken by the government. The CM reminded the Union Minister that he had written a letter on September 2 requesting the centre to release Rs.5,438 crores for the repair works. A Central team already visited the state and enumerated the crop and other losses and submitted a report on September 30. The central team estimated a loss of Rs 11,713 crore which is required for the repairs, the CM said the funds would not be sufficient for repairs and restoration works and the Centre has not yet released the funds. The Chief Minister requested the union minister for the immediate release of funds.
CM Revanth Reddy also informed the Union Minister that the center has released Rs.416.80 crores to Telangana under the first and second phases of SDRF for the year 2024-25. The CM requested Amit Shah not to link the funds released for reconstruction and repair works to the use of funds related to SDRF works in the past. The Chief Minister informed the Union Minister that the SDRF funds will be spent in the current financial year itself.
Continue those three districts in LWE ( Left Wing Extremism)
CM Revanth Reddy pleaded with the Union Home Minister to reinstate the districts of Adilabad, Mancherial and Komaram Bheem Asifabad in the list of Left Wing Extremism Affected (LWE) districts. These 3 districts have been removed from the LWE in the past. The CM appealed to the minister to pay more focus on the security of the Telangana state which is sharing the border with the LWE affected states of Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh.
Considering the internal security, the CM urged the union home minister to set up CRPF JTF camps in Kondawai of Charla mandal of Bhadradri Kothagudem district and Alubaka of Venkatapuram mandal of Mulugu district. The CM requested the union minister to release a 60 percent central share of Rs.18.31 crores, which has been pending for the last four years, to the SPOs. The minister is also requested to relax the rules to include 1,065 staff in the SPOs.
The CM requested Amit Shah to strengthen the police stations of Peruru, Mulugu, and Kannaigudem in Mulugu district and Palimela, Mahamutharam and Kataram in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district on the borders of Telangana. The Telangana Police Department is imparting training in Anti-Terrorism Tactics (AET) to the newly recruited police personnel through Greyhounds, the chief minister said appealing to Amit Shah to release an additional budget of Rs.25.59 crores which is required for training in 2024-25. The Chief Minister brought to the notice of the union minister that the centre has released insufficient funds of Rs 6.70 crore to Telangana for the Special Infrastructure Scheme ( SIS) and requested the release of Rs 23.56 crore for police forces training in tune with the advanced requirements.
Bifurcation related issues:
CM Revanth Reddy requested Amit Shah to extend cooperation in resolving the pending bifurcation issues. The CM urged the minister to settle the disputes over the distribution of government buildings and corporations in Schedule 9 (under Sections 53, 68 and 71 of the Act) and the dispute of the institutions under Schedule Ten (under Section 75 of the Act) amicably. In view of the Andhra Pradesh claim of the ownership of properties and institutions, which are not mentioned in the AP Reorganization Act, the CM urged the home minister to render justice to the Telangana State.
Allot more number of IPS officers
CM Revanth Reddy requested the union home minister to allocate 29 additional IPS posts to Telangana state. The CM said that only 76 IPS officers have been allotted to Telangana during the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. The Chief Minister appealed to the Union Minister to conduct a review on the allotment of IPS cadre officers to Telangana.

ఆ మూడు జిల్లాలను ఎల్డబ్ల్యూఈలో కొన‌సాగించాలి
వామ‌ప‌క్ష తీవ్ర‌వాద ప్రభావిత (ఎల్‌డ‌బ్ల్యూఈ) జిల్లాల నుంచి తొల‌గించిన ఆదిలాబాద్‌, మంచిర్యాల, కుమ్రం భీమ్ ఆసిఫాబాద్ జిల్లాలను ఎల్డబ్ల్యూఈలో తిరిగి చేర్చాల‌ని కేంద్ర హోం శాఖ మంత్రి అమిత్ షాను ముఖ్య‌మంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి కోరారు. ఎల్ డబ్ల్యూఈ ప్రభావిత రాష్ట్రాలైన మ‌హారాష్ట్ర, ఛ‌త్తీస్‌గ‌ఢ్‌ల‌తో తెలంగాణ‌కు సరిహద్దు ఉండటంతో రాష్ట్ర భద్రతపైన మరింత దృష్టి సారించాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందని కేంద్ర మంత్రికి ముఖ్య‌మంత్రి విజ్ఞ‌ప్తి చేశారు. అంత‌ర్గ‌త భ‌ద్ర‌త‌ను దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకొని భద్రాద్రి కొత్తగూడెం జిల్లా చర్ల మండలం కొండవాయి, ములుగు జిల్లా వెంకటాపురం మండలం ఆలుబాక గ్రామాల్లో సీఆర్ఫీఎఫ్ జేటీఎఫ్ క్యాంపులు ఏర్పాటు చేయాల‌ని కేంద్ర హోం శాఖ మంత్రి అమిత్ షాకు ముఖ్య‌మంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి విజ్ఞ‌ప్తి చేశారు. ఎస్పీవోల‌కు చెల్లించాల్సిన నిధుల్లో కేంద్రం వాటా 60 శాతం నాలుగేళ్ల నుంచి పెండింగ్ లో ఉందని, ఆ మొత్తం రూ.18.31 కోట్లు విడుదల చేయాల‌ని కేంద్ర మంత్రిని సీఎం కోరారు. 1,065 మందిని ఎస్పీవోల్లో చేర్చుకోవడానికి నిబంధనలు స‌డ‌లించాలని కోరారు. తెలంగాణ సరిహద్దుల్లోని మ‌లుగు జిల్లా పేరూరు, ములుగు, క‌న్నాయిగూడెం, జ‌య‌శంక‌ర్ భూపాల‌ప‌ల్లి జిల్లాలోని ప‌లిమెల, మహ ముత్తారం, కాటారం వంటి పోలీస్ స్టేష‌న్ల‌ను బ‌లోపేతం చేయాల‌ని ముఖ్య‌మంత్రి విజ్ఞ‌ప్తి చేశారు. తెలంగాణ పోలీస్ శాఖ కొత్త‌గా నియ‌మితులైన పోలీసు సిబ్బందికి గ్రేహౌండ్స్ ద్వారా తీవ్ర‌వాద వ్య‌తిరేక వ్యూహాల్లో (AET) శిక్ష‌ణ ఇప్పిస్తున్న‌ట్లు ముఖ్య‌మంత్రి తెలిపారు. 2024-25 సంవ‌త్స‌రంలో ఈ ర‌క‌మైన శిక్ష‌ణ‌కు అదనపు బడ్జెట్ రూ.25.59 కోట్లు అవ‌స‌ర‌మ‌ని, ఆ మొత్తాన్ని విడుదల చేయాల‌ని ముఖ్య‌మంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి కేంద్ర మంత్రికి విజ్ఞ‌ప్తి చేశారు. ఆధునిక అవ‌స‌రాల‌కు అనుగుణంగా పోలీసు ద‌ళాలను తీర్చిదిద్దే ప‌నుల‌కు ఉద్దేశించిన ప్ర‌త్యేక మౌలిక‌వ‌స‌తుల ప‌థ‌కం (ఎస్ఐఎస్‌)కు తెలంగాణ‌కు కేవలం రూ.6.70 కోట్లు మాత్ర‌మే విడుదల చేశార‌ని, అవి ఏమాత్రం స‌రిపోవ‌ని అద‌నంగా రూ.23.56 కోట్లు విడుదల చేయాల‌ని కేంద్ర మంత్రిని సీఎం కోరారు.
పునర్విభజన స‌మ‌స్య‌లపై
పెండింగ్‌లో ఉన్న రాష్ట్ర పున‌ర్విభ‌న స‌మ‌స్య‌ల ప‌రిష్కారానికి స‌హ‌క‌రించాల‌ని కేంద్ర హోం శాఖ మంత్రి అమిత్ షాను ముఖ్య‌మంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి కోరారు. షెడ్యూల్ 9లోని (చ‌ట్టంలోని 53, 68, 71 సెక్ష‌న్ల ప్ర‌కారం) ప్రభుత్వ భవనాలు, కార్పొరేషన్ల పంపిణీ, షెడ్యూల్ ప‌దిలోని సంస్థ‌ల వివాదం (చ‌ట్టంలోని 75 సెక్ష‌న్ ప్ర‌కారం) సామ‌ర‌స్య‌పూర్వ‌క ప‌రిష్కారానికి కృషి చేయాల‌ని విజ్ఞ‌ప్తి చేశారు. పునర్విభజన చట్టంలో ఎక్క‌డా పేర్కొని ఆస్తులు, సంస్థలను ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ క్లెయిమ్ చేసుకుంటున్నందున, వాటిలో తెలంగాణ‌కు న్యాయం జ‌రిగేలా చూడాల‌ని కేంద్ర మంత్రి షాను ముఖ్య‌మంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి కోరారు.
ఐపీఎస్ అధికారుల‌పై
