- First priority is to provide irrigation facilities in six months.
- Release funds to projects in Krishna and Godavari basins through green channel
- Take up land acquisition in a humane approach.

Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy ordered the officials to complete the irrigation projects on a priority basis in the state. The Irrigation authorities have been asked to take up the construction of the projects on the first priority which provide irrigation facilities and create new ayacut in six months.
The Chief Minister directed the officials to speed up the works of the projects which are to be completed in the next two years. The Irrigation department should prepare an action plan and expedite the work with a deadline to achieve the targets from time to time.
The CM observed that there is no use in spending money on projects which take five to six years to complete. The Chief Minister said the completion of the projects , which have already finished 75 per cent or more works, will help to provide irrigation facilities to more areas by next Kharif.
CM Revanth Reddy ordered the state Finance department to ensure that there is no difficulty in funding the important projects taken up in the Godavari basin and the Krishna basin. The finance officials are directed to pay the bills through green channel for the projects which provides irrigation facilities to more ayacut in a short time.
The officials have been advised to solve the hurdles for the completion of the works regularly. The officials informed the CM about the problems being faced in clearing the pending bills regarding the irrigation projects to the Energy department. In a quick response, the chief minister asked the officials to hold a joint meeting involving officials of the Irrigation Department , TRANSCO, GENCO and DISCOMS immediately.
To ensure the speed of the land acquisition, the Chief Minister suggested to hold a joint meeting of Revenue, Irrigation and other related wings and prepare an action plan based the decisions taken in the meeting immediately. The CM asked the Engineers and IAS officers to conduct field visits regularly to complete the project works quickly.
The Chief Minister reminded that the engineers in the Irrigation wing played an important role during the Telangana movement and urged them to discharge their duties with a commitment to fullfill the aspirations of 4 crore people of the Telangana State.
CM Revanth Reddy handed over the appointment orders to 687 newly employed AEEs at Jala Soudha on Thursday. Irrigation Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy, Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar, Tummala Nageswara Rao, Special Chief Secretary to Finance Ramakrishna Rao, Irrigation Department Principal Secretary Rahul Bojja, Secretary Prashant Patil and ENC Anil Kumar participated in this meeting.
Later, CM held a review on pending irrigation projects in the state. Speaking on this occasion, the CM said that the newly recruited AEEs will reduce work burden on the engineering staff in the irrigation wing.
The Chief Minister gave directions to the officials to complete the land acquisition before taking up the project works and ensure no land problem arises in the middle of the works. The officials have been asked to adopt humane approach and hold a meeting with land owners before acquiring the lands.
The officials gave a PowerPoint presentation on Chinna Kaleshwaram, Modikuntavagu, Lower Pen Ganga, Chankha Korata, J Chokkarao Devadula Lift Irrigation Scheme, Sripada Yellampalli Project, Koil Sagar Lift, Mahatma Gandhi Kalwakurthi Lift, Jahar Nettempadu Lift, Rajiv Bhima Lift, Eliminati Madhavareddy SLBC, Dindi Lift, SSRSP 2, Sadarmat barrage, Nilvai and Palemvagu projects and explained the status of the completion of the project works at the earliest.
The officials also submitted a report on the project-wise progress, requirement of time to complete the works and fund requirement to the CM. Later, the Chief Minister held a video conference with SEs and Chief Engineers.
The CM also instructed the authorities to study the mechanism adopted by other states in the removal of silt from
major and medium projects in the state. The officials briefed the CM about the system adopted in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. Irrigation Principal Secretary Rahul Bojja explained the CM about a recent study report which disclosed various projects are filled with 25 per cent silt and sand.
The Chief minister ordered the officials to study the mechanisms which are being used for the removal of silt again before adopting the national policy on silt removal.
రాష్ట్రంలోని సాగునీటి ప్రాజెక్టులను ప్రాధాన్యత క్రమంలో పూర్తి చేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఎ.రేవంత్ రెడ్డి అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. ఆరు నెలల్లో వీలైనంత ఆయకట్టును సాగునీటిని అందించే ప్రాజెక్టులను మొదటి ప్రాధాన్యంగా ఎంచుకోవాలని సూచించారు.
ఈ వరుసలో రాబోయే రెండేండ్లలో పూర్తయ్యే ప్రాజెక్టుల పనులను వేగవంతం చేయాలని ఇరిగేషన్ శాఖకు దిశా నిర్దేశం చేశారు. ఎప్పటికప్పుడు నిర్ణీత గడువుతో పాటు లక్ష్యాలను నెరవేర్చందుకు వీలుగా కార్యాచరణ సిద్ధం చేసుకోవాలని చెప్పారు.
ఎప్పుడో అయిదేండ్లకు ఆరేండ్లకు పూర్తి కాని ప్రాజెక్టులపై దృష్టి పెట్టి అక్కడ నిధులు ఖర్చు చేస్తే లాభం లేదని అన్నారు. ఇప్పటికే 75 శాతం, అంతకు మించి పనులు చేసిన ప్రాజెక్టులను పూర్తి చేస్తే వచ్చే ఖరీఫ్ లోగా మరింత ఆయకట్టుకు సాగునీరు అందించే అవకాశముందని సీఎం తెలిపారు.
అటు గోదావరి బేసిన్, ఇటు కృష్ణా బేసిన్ లో ప్రాధాన్యంగా ఎంచుకున్న ప్రాజెక్టులకు నిధులకు ఇబ్బంది లేకుండా చూడాలని ఆర్థిక శాఖను సీఎం ఆదేశించారు. తక్కువ సమయంలో ఎక్కువ ఆయకట్టుకు నీటిని అందించే ప్రాజెక్టులకు గ్రీన్ ఛానల్ ద్వారా బిల్లుల చెల్లింపులు చేయాలని చెప్పారు.
పనులు పూర్తి చేసేందుకు ఉన్న అడ్డంకులు, అవరోధంగా ఉన్న సమస్యలను ఎప్పటికప్పుడు పరిష్కరించాలని అధికారులకు సూచించారు. ఇరిగేషన్ ప్రాజెక్టులకు ప్రధానంగా విద్యుత్తు విభాగంతో కొన్ని బిల్లుల చెల్లింపుల సమస్యలున్నాయని అధికారులకు సీఎం దృష్టికి తీసుకొచ్చారు. ఇతర విభాగాలతో సమన్వయం లోపిస్తే పనులు ముందుకు వెళ్లే పరిస్థితి ఉండదని, వెంటనే ట్రాన్స్కో, జెన్కో , డిస్కంలతో ఇరిగేషన్ విభాగం జాయింట్ మీటింగ్ ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి సూచించారు.
భూసేకరణ వేగంగా పూర్తయ్యేందుకు రెవిన్యూ విభాగంతోనూ సమన్వయం చేసుకోవాలని చెప్పారు. ప్రాజెక్టులను వేగంగా చేపట్టేందుకు ఈ మూడు విభాగాలు కలిపి సంయుక్త సమావేశాలు ఏర్పాటు చేసుకోవాలని, సమావేశాల్లో తీసుకున్న నిర్ణయాలతో యాక్షన్ ప్లాన్ తయారు చేసుకొని ముందుకు వెళ్లాలని చెప్పారు. ఇంజనీర్లు ఆఫీసుల్లో ఉండే కుదరదని, ఐఏఎస్ అధికారుల నుంచి ఇంజనీర్లు అందరూ క్షేత్రస్థాయికి వెళ్లాలని సీఎం ఆదేశించారు. క్షేత్రస్థాయి పర్యటనలతో అసంపూర్తిగా ఆగిన పనులు వేగం పుంజుకుంటాయని చెప్పారు.
తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర సాధనలో సాగునీటి విభాగంలో పని చేసిన ఇంజనీర్లు అత్యంత కీలకమైన పాత్ర పోషించారని ముఖ్యమంత్రి గుర్తు చేశారు. అందుకే ఇరిగేషన్ విభాగంలో పని చేసే ఇంజనీర్లందరూ తమది సాదాసీదా ఉద్యోగం కాదని.. తెలంగాణలోని నాలుగు కోట్ల ప్రజల భావోద్వేగంతో ముడిపడి ఉందనే లక్ష్య సాధనతో పని చేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి పిలుపు నిచ్చారు.
ఇటీవల కొత్తగా ఉద్యోగం పొందిన 687 మంది ఏఈఈలకు గురువారం సాయంత్రం జలసౌధ ప్రాంగణంలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి నియామక పత్రాలను అందించారు. ఇరిగేషన్ శాఖ మంత్రి ఉత్తమ్ కుమార్ రెడ్డి , మంత్రులు పొన్నం ప్రభాకర్, తుమ్మల నాగేశ్వరరావుతో పాటు ఆర్థిక శాఖ ముఖ్య కార్యదర్శి రామకృష్ణారావు, ఇరిగేషన్ శాఖ ముఖ్య కార్యదర్శి రాహుల్ బొజ్జా, కార్యదర్శి ప్రశాంత్ పాటిల్, ఈఎన్సీ అనిల్కుమార్ ఈ సమావేశంలో పాల్గొన్నారు. అనంతరం రాష్ట్రంలో పెండింగ్లో ఉన్న సాగునీటి ప్రాజెక్టులపై ముఖ్యమంత్రి జలసౌధలో సమీక్ష సమావేశం నిర్వహించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా సీఎం మాట్లాడుతూ.. సాగునీటి విభాగంలో కొత్తగా చేరిన యువ ఏఈఈలతో ఇప్పుడున్న ఇంజనీర్లపై పనిభారం కొంతమేరకు తగ్గుతుందని అన్నారు.
పనులు చేపట్టి భూసేకరణ నిలిచిపోయిందనే సమస్య తలెత్తకుండా చూసుకోవాలని, కొనసాగుతున్న ప్రాజెక్టులన్నింటిలోనూ ముందుగా భూ సేకరణ చేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి సూచించారు. భూసేకరణలోనూ మానవీయత ఉండాలని, భూములు ఇచ్చే వారితో అధికారులు, ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు కలిసి సంప్రదింపులు జరపాలని చెప్పారు.
చిన్న కాళేశ్వరం, మోడికుంటవాగు, లోయర్ పెన్ గంగా, ఛనఖా కొరటా, జే చొక్కారావు దేవాదుల లిఫ్ట్ ఇరిగేషన్ స్కీమ్, శ్రీపాద ఎల్లంపల్లి ప్రాజెక్టు, కోయిల్ సాగర్ లిఫ్ట్, మహాత్మగాంధీ కల్వకుర్తి లిఫ్ట్, జహహర్ నెట్టెంపాడు లిఫ్ట్, రాజీవ్ భీమా లిఫ్ట్, ఎలిమినేటి మాధవరెడ్డి ఎస్ఎల్బీసీ, డిండి లిఫ్ట్, ఎస్సారెస్పీ 2, సదర్‌మట్ బ్యారేజ్, నీల్వాయి, పాలెంవాగు ప్రాజెక్టులను వీలైనంత తొందరగా పూర్తి చేసేందుకు అవకాశాలున్నాయని ఇరిగేషన్ అధికారులు ఈ సమావేశంలో పవర్ పాయింట్ ప్రజంటేషన్ ఇచ్చారు. ప్రాజెక్టుల వారీగా పురోగతిని, ఎంత కాలంలో పనులు పూర్తి చేసే అవకాశముంది.. ఎన్ని నిధులు కావాలనే వివరాలను ముఖ్యమంత్రికి నివేదించారు. అనంతరం సీఈలతో పాటు రాష్ట్రంలోని అన్ని జిల్లాల ఎస్ఈలతో ముఖ్యమంత్రి వీడియో కాన్ఫరెన్స్ లో మాట్లాడారు.
రాష్ట్రంలో ఉన్న మేజర్, మీడియం ప్రాజెక్టులో పూడిక తీతపై ఇతర రాష్ట్రాలు అనుసరిస్తున్నవిధానాలు, సాధ్యా సాధ్యాలను పరిశీలించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఎ.రేవంత్ రెడ్డి సూచించారు. ఇప్పటికే రాజస్థాన్, మధ్యప్రదేశ్, మహారాష్ట్రలో జరుగుతున్న పనులను అధికారులు వివరించారు. రాష్ట్రంలో వివిధ ప్రాజెక్టుల పరిధిలో సగటున 25 శాతం పూడిక, ఇసుక మేటలున్నాయని ఇటీవల ఒక ఏజెన్సీ అధ్యయన నివేదికలో వెల్లడయిందని ఇరిగేషన్ ప్రిన్సిపల్ సెక్రెటరీ రాహుల్ బొజ్జా చెప్పారు. పూడికతీతపై జాతీయ పాలసీని అన్వయం చేసుకునే ముందు మరోసారి సాధ్యాసాధ్యాలు, ఏయే పద్ధతులను అనుసరించాలి.. వాటితో ఉండే లాభనష్టాలను మరోసారి బేరీజు వేసుకోవాలని సీఎం అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు.
