Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A Revanth Reddy presented awards to the meritorious students from the government schools at a program in Ravindra Bharathi on Monday.
The Chief Minister’s speech points:
• The government should have organized such a good program officially. The Vande Mataram Foundation reminded us of the responsibility through such a program. It is a matter of pride for the government that the government school students are excelling in their studies more than private institutions. Competing our students with corporate schools enhanced the government’s prestige.
• Heartiest congratulations to the students. 90 percent of IAS and IPS officers have studied in government schools. All prominent politicians including me have once studied in government schools.
• The previous government closed down the single teacher schools due to lack of students. This situation prevailed due to lack of focus on developing infrastructure in schools. Our government decided not to close single teacher schools.
• My government is committed to provide education facilities in every village and Tanda. Started work at the cost of Rs 2,000 crore to rebuild all government school buildings which are in a dilapidated condition. Government also launched Professor Jayashankar Badi Bata program to increase the enrollment of students in government schools.
• Handed over the management of government schools to the Women’s Groups and directed the officials to release funds through green channel. The government is considering the implementation of semi-residential system in government schools. A study report said that residential schooling weakened relations between parents and children.
• Government will not neglect schools in the villages. Spending on education is not expenditure but an investment. Society will benefit from the Investment on education.
• Government will constitute Education and Agriculture commissions soon to ensure the problems being faced are addressed continuously. Government is ready to receive suggestions. Directed authorities to pay special attention to the admissions of students who secured 10/10 score in 10 th standard. Wishing all to achieve state ranks in intermediate and excel in future.
• This is the people’s government. We will move forward by instilling confidence.

- కానీ సింగిల్ టీచర్ పాఠశాలలను మూసేయొద్దని మా ప్రభుత్వం నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది.
- ప్రతీ గ్రామం, ప్రతీ తండాకు విద్యను అందించేలా ప్రభుత్వం ముందుకెళుతుంది.
- శిథిలావస్థకు చేరిన అన్ని ప్రభుత్వ పాఠశాలల భవనాలను పునర్నిర్మించేందుకు రూ.2వేల కోట్లతో పనులు ప్రారంభించాం.
- విద్యార్థులను బడిలో చేర్పించేందుకు ప్రొటోఫెసర్ జయశంకర్ బడిబాట కార్యక్రమాన్ని ప్రభుత్వం నిర్వహిస్తోంది..
- ప్రభుత్వ పాఠశాలల నిర్వహణను మహిళా సంఘాలకు అప్పగించాం.
- గ్రీన్ ఛానెల్ ద్వారా నిధులు విడుదల చేయాలని అధికారులను ఆదేశించాం.
- ప్రభుత్వ పాఠశాలల్లో సెమీ రెసిడెన్షియల్ విధానాన్ని అమలు చేసే అంశాన్ని ప్రభుత్వం పరిశీలిస్తోంది.
- రెసిడెన్షియల్ స్కూల్ ద్వారా తల్లదండ్రులకు పిల్లల సంబంధాలు బలహీనపడుతున్నాయని ఒక స్టడీ రిపోర్ట్ వచ్చింది.
- గ్రామాల్లో ఉండే పాఠశాలలపై నిర్లక్ష్యం వహించొద్దు..
- విద్య మీద ప్రభుత్వం పెట్టేది ఖర్చు కాదు.. పెట్టుబడి..
- విద్యపై పెట్టె పెట్టుబడి మన సమాజానికి లాభాన్ని చేకూరుస్తుంది..
- త్వరలో విద్య, వ్యవసాయ కమిషన్ లను ఏర్పాటు చేసి నిరంతరం సమస్యలను పరిష్కరించే వెసులుబాటు కల్పించబోతున్నాం.
- మా ప్రభుత్వానికి భేషజాలు లేవు..
- ఎవరైనా సలహాలు ఇస్తే స్వీకరించడానికి ప్రభుత్వం సిద్ధంగా ఉంది.
- 10/10 వచ్చిన విద్యార్థుల అడ్మిషన్లపై ప్రత్యేక దృష్టి పెట్టాలని అధికారులకు ఆదేశిస్తున్నా…
