Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy extended greetings to the women’s community on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
The Chief Minister said that women’s representation in administration and governance has increased significantly. The state government is taking necessary measures to help women develop and progress in all fields. The newly elected government already implemented free bus travel and a Rs.500 gas cylinder supply scheme to every household for women empowerment, the CM said.
CM Revanth Reddy strongly desired women will get equal opportunities and equal rights in all fields. With an objective to uplift the women’s community, the CM said that the government will introduce some more innovative programmes through women Self Help Groups.
The Chief Minister said a slew of new schemes will also be made available to support women in the coming days. The CM is confident that Telangana state will be a role model in women empowerment and welfare in the country.

అంతర్జాతీయ మహిళా దినోత్సవం సందర్భంగా మహిళలకు ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ ఏ. రేవంత్ రెడ్డి శుభాకాంక్షలు తెలిపారు. ప్రజా పాలనలో మహిళల ప్రాతినిథ్యం, భాగస్వామ్యం గణనీయంగా పెరిగిందన్నారు. అన్ని రంగాల్లో మహిళలను అభివృద్ధి, ప్రగతి పథంలో తీసుకెళ్లేందుకు రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం అవసరమైన చర్యలు చేపడుతోందన్నారు. మహిళల సాధికారితతో పాటు ఆర్థిక స్వాలంబనకు మహాలక్ష్మి ఉచిత బస్సు ప్రయాణం, ఇంటింటికీ రూ.500 గ్యాస్ సిలిండర్ గ్యారంటీలను కొత్త ప్రభుత్వం అమల్లోకి తెచ్చిందని అన్నారు.
అన్ని రంగాల్లో మహిళలకు సమాన అవకాశాలు, సమాన హక్కులు దక్కాలని సీఎం ఆకాంక్షించారు. మహిళల అభ్యున్నతి లక్ష్యంగా రాష్ట్రంలోని స్వయం సహాయక సంఘాల ద్వారా త్వరలోనే మరిన్ని వినూత్న కార్యక్రమాలను చేపడుతామన్నారు. మహిళలకు అండగా ఉండేలా తమ ప్రభుత్వం మరిన్ని కొత్త పథకాలు అందుబాటులోకి తెస్తుందని అన్నారు. మహిళా సంక్షేమంలో తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రం తప్పకుండా దేశమందరి దృష్టిని ఆకర్షిస్తుందనే నమ్మకం తనకు ఉందన్నారు.
