Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy has decided to launch the INDIRAMMA HOUSING SCHEME on March 11 and instructed the officials to make necessary arrangements for the launch of the poor housing programme in the state. As part of the implementation of #SixGuarantees, the government will take up the ambitious housing scheme as a prestigious programme, the Chief Minister said.
CM Sri Revanth Reddy along with Housing Minister Sri Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, Transport Minister Sri Ponnam Prabhakar and Chief Minister’s Advisor Sri Vem Narendra Reddy held a review meeting to prepare guidelines for the implementation of the housing scheme. Chief Secretary Smt. Santhi Kumari, R&B Secretary Sri Srinivasa Raju and other officials also participated.
The Chief Minister directed the officials to extend the housing scheme benefit to all the eligible poor who did not possess their own houses. The officials have been asked to finalize the guidelines accordingly. The CM said that priority should be given to all the eligible people who submitted applications in the #PrajaPalana. CM Sri Revanth Reddy cautioned the officials not to repeat the mistakes committed by the previous government in the construction of double bed room houses and original beneficiaries are only benefited. A tentative decision is taken to grant 3500 houses to each constituency in the meeting. The CM expressed his hope that the dream of owning a house for the homeless poor will be fulfilled in a phased manner.
Under the Indiramma housing scheme, the government will provide Rs 5 lakh financial assistance to construct the house to those who already owned a housing plot. A piece of land and Rs 5 lakh will be given as a housing scheme benefit to the poor who did not possess the plot. The chief minister instructed the officials to prepare the rules and guidelines for the release of funds in a phased manner. CM Sri Revanth said that strict guidelines should be made to prevent the misuse of the funds to be received by the beneficiaries.
The CM suggested that different types of house models and designs will be made available for those who are building a house in their own plot. A kitchen and toilet are required in the construction of the house under the housing scheme. The CM also suggested to the officials to handover the responsibilities of monitoring house construction to the Engineering wings in the various departments. These responsibilities will be given to the engineering wings under the supervision of the District Collectors.

ఈ నెల 11న ఇందిరమ్మ ఇండ్ల పథకం ప్రారంభించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ ఏ. రేవంత్ రెడ్డి నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నారు. అందుకు అవసరమైన ఏర్పాట్లు చేయాలని అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. ప్రభుత్వం ఇచ్చిన మాట ప్రకారం ఆరు గ్యారంటీల అమలులో భాగంగా ఈ పథకాన్ని ప్రతిష్టాత్మకంగా చేపట్టాలని అన్నారు.
ఈరోజు సచివాలయంలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ ఏ. రేవంత్ రెడ్డి తో పాటు గృహ నిర్మాణ శాఖ మంత్రి శ్రీ పొంగులేటి శ్రీనివాసరెడ్డి, రవాణా శాఖ మంత్రి శ్రీ పొన్నం ప్రభాకర్, ముఖ్యమంత్రి సలహాదారు శ్రీ వేం నరేందర్రెడ్డి ఇందిరమ్మ ఇండ్ల పథకానికి సంబంధించిన మార్గదర్శకాలపై సమీక్ష సమావేశం నిర్వహించారు. ప్రభుత్వ పధాన కార్యదర్శి శ్రీమతి శాంతి కుమారి, ఆర్ అండ్ బీ ముఖ్య కార్యదర్శి శ్రీ శ్రీనివాసరాజు, ఇతర అధికారులు ఇందులో పాల్గొన్నారు.
రాష్ట్రంలో ఇల్లు లేని నిరుపేద అర్హులందరికీ ఈ పథకం వర్తింపజేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి అధికారులకు సూచించారు. అందుకు అనుగుణంగా విధి విధానాలను తయారు చేయాలని చెప్పారు. ప్రజా పాలనలో నమోదు చేసుకున్న అర్హులందరికీ ముందుగా ప్రాధాన్యమివ్వాలని అన్నారు. గత ప్రభుత్వం డబుల్ బెడ్ రూమ్ ఇండ్ల నిర్మాణంలో చేసిన తప్పులు జరగకుండా, అసలైన అర్హులకు లబ్ధి జరిగేలా చూడాలని అధికారులను అప్రమత్తం చేశారు. ముందుగా ఒక్కో నియోజకవర్గానికి 3500 ఇళ్లను మంజూరు చేయాలని సూచనప్రాయంగా నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నారు. దశల వారీగా గూడు లేని నిరుపేదల సొంత ఇంటి కల నెరవేర్చడం తమ ప్రభుత్వ సంకల్పమని సీఎం తన ఆకాంక్షను వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
ఇందిరమ్మ ఇళ్ల పథకంలో ఇంటి స్థలం ఉన్న వారికి అదే స్థలంలో కొత్త ఇంటి నిర్మాణానికి రూ.5 లక్షలు ఇస్తారు. ఇల్లు లేని నిరుపేదలకు ఇంటి స్థలంతో పాటు రూ.5 లక్షలు అందిస్తారు. ఏయే దశల్లో ఈ నిధులను విడుదల చేయాలనే నిబంధనలను సిద్ధం చేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి అధికారులకు సూచించారు. లబ్ధిదారులకు అందాల్సిన నిధులు దుర్వినియోగం కాకుండా కట్టుదిట్టమైన మార్గదర్శకాలు రూపొందించాలని చెప్పారు.
సొంత జాగాలో ఇల్లు కట్టుకునే వారికి ఉపయోగపడేలా వివిధ రకాల ఇంటి నమూనాలు, డిజైన్లను తయారు చేయించాలని సీఎం సూచించారు. లబ్ధిదారులు సొంత ఇల్లు తనకు అనుగుణంగా నిర్మాణం చేపట్టినప్పటికీ తప్పనిసరిగా ఒక వంటగది, టాయిలెట్ ఉండేలా చూడాలన్నారు. ఇంటి నిర్మాణాలను పర్యవేక్షించే బాధ్యతలను వివిధ శాఖల్లో ఉన్న ఇంజనీరింగ్ విభాగాలకు అప్పగించాలని సీఎం సూచించారు. జిల్లా కలెక్టర్ల అధ్వర్యంలో ఇంజనీరింగ్ విభాగాలకు ఈ బాధ్యతలను ఇవ్వాలని చెప్పారు.
