Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy warned that the government will initiate stringent action against the officials who created trouble to the people and bring bad repute to the government. The CM said that the government will not tolerate if any official takes decisions without consulting the government. The Chief Minister expressed anger over conducting inspection of the agricultural pump sets of the farmers in Mahabubnagar district recently.
This issue has come up for discussion while the CM is reviewing the status of the applications received in the recently conducted Praja Palana at the Secretariat today (Thursday). The CM questioned TRANSCO CMD Sri Rizvi for conducting a survey of the agricultural pump sets and orders given to this effect in the meeting. The Chief Minister inquired whether action was taken against the officials responsible.
Deputy Chief Minister and Energy Minister Sri Bhatti Vikramarka, who was also present in the meeting, responded and explained to the CM that the issue of survey of pump sets came to his notice also. Deputy CM said that DISCOM Director (Operations) Sri J. Srinivasa Reddy himself gave orders without any departmental decision and Superintendent Engineer (SE) Sri NSR Murthy implemented the orders. The Deputy Chief Minister informed the CM that Director Sri Srinivasa Reddy has been removed from the duty and the SE was transferred.
The Chief Minister cautioned the officials to stop taking decisions on their own and lose their jobs. The government will not tolerate such actions which causes the government to face embarrassment, the CM said.

ప్రజలను ఇబ్బంది పెట్టి… ప్రభుత్వానికి చెడ్డపేరు తెచ్చేలా ప్రవర్తించే అధికారులపై కఠినంగా ఉంటామని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ ఏ. రేవంత్ రెడ్డి హెచ్చరించారు. ప్రభుత్వ అనుమతి లేకుండా అధికారులు తమకు తోచినట్లుగా సొంత నిర్ణయాలు తీసుకుంటే సహించేది లేదని అన్నారు. ఇటీవల మహబూబ్ నగర్ జిల్లాలో రైతులకు సంబంధించిన వ్యవసాయ కనెక్షన్లపై తనిఖీలు చేయటంపై సీఎం ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
ఈరోజు డా. బి. ఆర్. అంబేద్కర్ తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర సచివాలయంలో ప్రజాపాలన దరఖాస్తుల సమీక్ష జరుగుతుండగా ఈ అంశం చర్చకు వచ్చింది. రైతుల వ్యవసాయ కనెక్షన్లపై సర్వే చేయాలని చెప్పిందెవరు..? తనిఖీ చేయాలని ఆర్డర్లు ఇచ్చింది ఎవరు…? అని సమీక్షలో ఉన్న ట్రాన్స్ కో సీఎండీ శ్రీ రిజ్విని ముఖ్యమంత్రి ప్రశ్నించారు. బాధ్యులైన అధికారులపై చర్యలు తీసుకున్నారా? లేదా? అని ఆరా తీశారు.
సమావేశంలోనే ఉన్న ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రి, విద్యుత్తు శాఖ మంత్రి శ్రీ భట్టి విక్రమార్క స్పందించి.. రైతుల కరెంట్ కనెక్షన్ల తనిఖీ, సర్వే చేసిన విషయం తన దృష్టికి వచ్చిందని సీఎంకు వివరించారు.
శాఖాపరమైన నిర్ణయమేదీ లేకుండానే డిస్కం డైరెక్టర్ (ఆపరేషన్స్) శ్రీ జె. శ్రీనివాసరెడ్డి సొంతంగా ఆదేశాలు ఇచ్చాడని, ఆయన ఆదేశాల మేరకు అక్కడున్న ఎస్ఈ శ్రీ ఎన్ఎస్ఆర్ మూర్తి ఈ చర్యకు పాల్పడినట్లు తెలిపారు. ఈ వ్యవహారంలోనే డైరెక్టర్ శ్రీ శ్రీనివాసరెడ్డిని విధుల నుంచి తొలిగించామని, ఎస్ఈ అక్కడి నుంచి బదిలీ చేశామని ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రి జరిగిన సంఘటనను మొత్తం వివరించారు.
ప్రభుత్వానికి చెడ్డపేరు తెచ్చేందుకు ప్రయత్నిస్తే ఇలాంటి చర్యలు తప్పవని, తమకు తోచినట్లు సొంత నిర్ణయాలు తీసుకొని ఉద్యోగాలు పోగొట్టుకోవద్దని ముఖ్యమంత్రి అధికారులను అప్రమత్తం చేశారు.
