Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy suggested the South Central Railway General Manager Sri Arun Kumar Jain to prepare plans for the development of Vikarabad-Krishna Railway Line. Sri Arun Kumar Jain paid a courtesy call on Hon’ble CM at State Secretariat on Tuesday.
The CM and the General Manager have discussed about completing the pending railway lines and establishing new ones in the State. The CM enquired about the development of proposed Vikarabad – Krishna Railway Line. The Chief Minister suggested Sri Arun Kumar Jain to complete the railway line which has been neglected for a long time. The CM stated that development of the railway line with spur the growth of the surrounding areas. New industrial units will also come up in the vicinity. Hon’ble CM has asked the GM Sri Arun Kumar Jain to prepare the proposals for the development of the railway line.
R&B and Transport Depts. Principal Secretary Sri Srinivasa Raju and other officials participated in the meeting.

వికారాబాద్- కృష్ణా రైల్వే లైన్ అబివృద్దికి ప్రణాళికలు సిద్ధం చేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి దక్షిణ మధ్య రైల్వే జనరల్ మేనేజర్ శ్రీ అరుణ్ కుమార్ జైన్‌కు సూచించారు. శ్రీ అరుణ్ కుమార్ జైన్ గౌరవ ముఖ్యమంత్రిని సెక్రటేరియట్‌లో మర్యాదపూర్వకంగా కలిశారు.
పెండింగ్‌లో ఉన్న రైల్వే లైన్లను పూర్తి చేయడం, కొత్త రైల్వే లైన్లను ఏర్పాటు చేయడం గురించి ముఖ్యమంత్రి మరియు జనరల్ మేనేజర్ చర్చించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ప్రతిపాదిత వికారాబాద్- కృష్ణా రైల్వే లైన్ పురోగతి గురించి ముఖ్యమంత్రి అడిగి తెలుసుకున్నారు. చాలాకాలంగా నిర్లక్ష్యానికి గురైన ఆ రైల్వే లైన్ పూర్తి చేయాలని శ్రీ అరుణ్ కుమార్ జైన్‌కు ముఖ్యమంత్రి సూచించారు. రైల్వే లైన్‌తో పరిసర ప్రాంతాలు త్వరితగతిన అభివృద్ధి చెందుతాయని ముఖ్యమంత్రి అన్నారు. చుట్టుపక్కల ప్రాంతాల్లో కొత్త పారిశ్రామిక యూనిట్లు వస్తాయని అన్నారు. రైల్వే లైన్ అభివృద్ధి కోసం ప్రతిపాదనలు సిద్ధం చేయాలని గౌరవ ముఖ్యమంత్రి జనరల్ మేనేజర్ శ్రీ అరుణ్ కుమార్ జైన్‌ను కోరారు.
రోడ్లు, భవనాలు మరియు ట్రాన్స్‌పోర్ట్ డిపార్ట్‌మెంట్‌ల ప్రిన్సిపల్ సెక్రెటరీ శ్రీ శ్రీనివాస రాజుతో పాటు ఇతర అధికారులు సమావేశంలో పాల్గొన్నారు.
