Making it clear that his government is determined to provide a skilled workforce to the entire world, Chief Minister Sri A Revanth Reddy announced that the city of Hyderabad will be promoted as the hub of skill development, besides developing the city as an education hub. The Chief Minister sought everyone’s cooperation to place Hyderabad on the global stage as a destination for a technical skill training center that is being useful for the bright future of the students.
The CM said that unemployment has increased and the jobless youth did not get employment opportunities in the state in the last ten years. 30 lakh job aspirants registered on the TSPSC website itself. About 50 lakh unemployed people are struggling for jobs in the state. The People’s Government recognized the seriousness of the unemployment problem and recruitment letters were given to 30,000 selected candidates within 3 months of coming to power in the state. The official process to fill another 35,000 vacancies including DSC, Group 1, Group 2, Group 3 and other jobs is under progress. Further, the government is taking all measures to fill another 35,000 jobs in the next 2 to 3 months.
CM Revanth Reddy launched the BFSI skill development training program in 38 colleges at Masab Tank JNTU auditorium on Wednesday. IT Minister Sridhar Babu, Education Secretary Burra Venkatesham, Technical Education Commissioner Sridevasena, Higher Education Board Chairman Limbadri, BFSI Consortium representatives Mamata Madireddy, Ramesh, Equip representatives Hemant Gupta, G.Saikiran participated in this program.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that his government is focusing on creating employment opportunities for the youth. Efforts are being made to provide job security through skill development training to the youth and meet the industry requirements. As a part of this, the Government held discussion with BFSI representatives and launched this program which has been designed to offer training to 10,000 students by the time they complete graduation. The trained students will get jobs in the banking, financial service and insurance sectors.
Congratulating the Equip company for providing the necessary funds and preparing the syllabus for these courses, the Chief Minister called upon the students to utilize the opportunity to get jobs soon after the completion of their studies.
The talented students will get job opportunities if they possess skills, the Chief Minister said that 3 lakh students pass out with degrees every year in the state but are unable to find jobs due to lack of skills. The industries have been facing a shortage of employees with technical skills. The government is taking a special initiative to address the issue by giving top priority to skill development training for the youth. The Government also decided to introduce internships for degree and engineering students from next year. The initiative will provide students with practical knowledge.
CM Revanth Reddy explained that the innovative courses are launched to provide jobs in Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) fields for degree and engineering students. These courses are started to teach the skills required for BFSI and the government will take the responsibility of providing required skilled manpower to the industries.
The Chief Minister expressed serious concern over the youth addicted to ganja and drugs. It is worrying that the engineering students are caught as drug peddlers. The CM appealed to the students and their parents to support the government in the eradication of drugs and ganja. To overcome the drug menace, the government launched skill development training programs.
The CM is serious on some engineering colleges for not maintaining minimum standards in providing job skills and some colleges are running institutions without teachers, basic facilities. The Chief Minister warned that the government will cancel the permission of the colleges that failed to maintain educational standards.
Explaining the government’s initiatives, the CM said that ITIs are being upgraded and converted them into advanced technology centers with the collaboration of Tata Technologies. A pilot project has already been started at Mallepally ITI. Every student of this institution will get a job. All the ITIs in the state will also be converted into ATCs in the next two years.
The Chief Minister reminded that the government has already set up Young India Skill University and Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra has been appointed as the Chairman of the university Board. The university will offer job guarantee courses for thousands of youth in various fields every year.
The polytechnic colleges will also be upgraded, the CM said that Young India Sports University and Sports Academy will be established and promote the Telangana State as a role model for the country. The sports university will train aspiring sports persons and support the athletes in all ways. The government will seek the cooperation of the multinational company CEOs who studied at Hyderabad Public School for state development.
The company presented a cheque of Rs 2.5 crores to the Chief Minister. On this occasion, the Chief Minister launched Equip Skill Portal which created the data of the students.

ప్రపంచానికి నైపుణ్యమున్న యువతను అందించాలని తమ ప్రభుత్వం లక్ష్యంగా ఎంచుకుందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఎ.రేవంత్ రెడ్డి స్పష్టం చేశారు. హైదరాబాద్ ను ఎడ్యుకేషన్ హబ్ గా మార్చటంతో పాటు… నైపుణ్యాల అభివృద్ధి చిరునామాగా తీర్చిదిద్దుతామని అన్నారు. విద్యార్థుల ఉజ్వల భవిష్యత్తుకు ఉపయోగపడే సాంకేతిక నైపుణ్యాలు నేర్పించే గమ్యస్థానంగా హైదరాబాద్ ను విశ్వ వేదికపై నిలబెట్టేందుకు అందరి సహకారం కావాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి పిలుపునిచ్చారు.
తెలంగాణలో గత పదేండ్లలో నిరుద్యోగం పెరిగిందని, గత పదేండ్లలో నిరుద్యోగులకు ఉద్యోగ, ఉపాధి అవకాశాలు లభించలేదని అన్నారు. టీఎస్పీఎస్సీ వెబ్ సైట్లోనే 30 లక్షల మంది నమోదు చేసుకున్నారని, రాష్ట్రంలో దాదాపు 50 లక్షల మంది నిరుద్యోగులు వీధిన పడే పరిస్థితి వచ్చిందన్నారు. అందుకే రాష్ట్రంలోని నిరుద్యోగ సమస్య తీవ్రతను ప్రజా ప్రభుత్వం గుర్తించిందని, తాము అధికారంలోకి వచ్చిన మూడు నెలల్లోనే 30 వేల మందికి ఉద్యోగ నియామక పత్రాలు ఇచ్చామన్నారు. డీఎస్సీ, గ్రూప్ 1, గ్రూప్ 2, గ్రూప్ 3, తదితర ఉద్యోగాలన్నీ కలిపి మరో 35 వేల ఖాళీల భర్తీ ప్రక్రియ ప్రస్తుతం కొనసాగుతుందని చెప్పారు. రాబోయే రెండు మూడు నెలల్లో మరో 35 వేల ఉద్యోగ నియామకాలు చేపట్టేందుకు ప్రభుత్వం అన్ని రకాల చర్యలు తీసుకుంటుందని చెప్పారు.
బుధవారం ఉదయం మాసబ్ ట్యాంక్ జేఎన్టీయూ ఆడిటోరియంలో రాష్ట్రంలోని 38 కాలేజీల్లో బీఎఫ్ఎస్ఐ నైపుణ్య శిక్షణ కార్యక్రమాన్ని ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఎ.రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ప్రారంభించారు. ఐటీ శాఖ మంత్రి శ్రీధర్ బాబు, విద్యా శాఖ ముఖ్య కార్యదర్శి బుర్రా వెంకటేశం, సాంకేతిక విద్యాశాఖ కమిషనర్ శ్రీదేవసేన, ఉన్నత విద్యామండలి ఛైర్మన్ లింబాద్రి, బీఎఫ్ఎస్ఐ కన్సార్టియం ప్రతినిధులు మమతా మాదిరెడ్డి, రమేష్ ఖాజా, ఎక్విప్ సంస్థ ప్రతినిధులు హేమంత్ గుప్తా, జి.సాయికిరణ్ ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో పాల్గొన్నారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి మాట్లాడుతూ.. యువతకు ఉద్యోగ ఉపాధి అవకాశాలపై తమ ప్రభుత్వం దృష్టి సారించిందన్నారు. పరిశ్రమలకు అవసరమైన నైపుణ్యమున్న యువతను తయారు చేసి.. ఉపాధికి భద్రత కల్పించే ప్రయత్నం చేస్తున్నామన్నారు. ఇందులో భాగంగానే బీఎఫ్ఎస్ఐ ప్రతినిధులతో చర్చలు జరిపామని, వారు ఇచ్చిన ప్రతిపాదనలతో ఈ వినూత్న కార్యక్రమం చేపట్టామన్నారు. రాష్ట్రంలో ఇప్పుడు డిగ్రీలో చేరిన పది వేల మంది డిగ్రీ విద్యార్థులు తమ పట్టా పొందే నాటికి నైపుణ్యాన్ని నేర్చుకునేలా ఈ ప్రోగ్రాం రూపకల్పన చేసినట్లు చెప్పారు. ఈ శిక్షణ పొందిన విద్యార్థులకు బ్యాంకింగ్ ఫైనాన్షియల్ సర్వీస్, ఇన్సూరెన్స్ రంగంలో ఉద్యోగాలకు ఢోకా ఉండదని అన్నారు. అవసరమైన నిధులను ఇచ్చేందుకు ముందుకు వచ్చిన ఎక్విప్ సంస్థను, ఈ కోర్సు సిలబస్ను రూపొందించిన బీఆర్ఎస్ఎఫ్ ప్రతినిధులను ముఖ్యమంత్రి అభినందించారు. ఈ అవకాశాన్ని సద్వినియోగం చేసుకోవాలని విద్యార్థులకు పిలుపునిచ్చారు.
ప్రతిభ ఉన్నా, నైపుణ్యం లేకపోతే యువతకు ఉద్యోగ అవకాశాలు దక్కవని అభిప్రాయపడ్డారు. తెలంగాణలో ఏటా మూడు లక్షల మంది విద్యార్థులు డిగ్రీ పట్టాలు పొంది కాలేజీల నుంచి బయటకు వస్తున్నారని, కానీ ఇండస్ట్రీ అవసరాలకు సంబంధించిన నైపుణ్యం లేకపోవడంతో ఉద్యోగాలు పొందలేకపోతున్నారని అన్నారు. అటు పరిశ్రమలకు తమ సాంకేతిక నైపుణ్యమున్న ఉద్యోగుల కొరతను ఎదుర్కుంటున్నాయని అన్నారు. ఈ సమస్యను అధిగమించేందుకు ప్రభుత్వం ప్రత్యేక చొరవ చూపుతోందని అన్నారు. అందులో భాగంగానే యువతకు నైపుణ్య శిక్షణకు ప్రభుత్వం అత్యంత ప్రాధాన్యమిస్తోందని చెప్పారు.
డిగ్రీలు, ఇంజనీరింగ్ విద్యార్థులకు వచ్చే ఏడాది నుంచి ఇంటర్న్షిప్ కూడా ప్రవేశపెట్టాలని రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. దీంతో విద్యార్థులకు ప్రాక్టికల్ నాలెడ్జీ కూడా సమకూరుతుందని అన్నారు.
డిగ్రీ, ఇంజినీరింగ్ విద్యార్థులకు బ్యాంకింగ్, ఫైనాన్షియల్ సర్వీసెస్, ఇన్సూరెన్స్ (బీఎఫ్ఎస్ఐ) రంగాల్లో ఉద్యోగాలను కల్పించడమే లక్ష్యంగా వినూత్న కోర్సుకు శ్రీకారం చుట్టినట్లు వివరించారు. నాలెడ్జ్, కమ్యూనికేషన్ ఉంటేనే మంచి ఉద్యోగాలు వస్తాయని, చదివిన డిగ్రీకి, మార్కెట్లో ఉన్న డిమాండ్కు గ్యాప్ ఉంటోందని సీఎం అన్నారు. బీఎఫ్ఎస్ఐకు అవసరమైన స్కిల్స్ నేర్పేందుకు ఈ కోర్సు ప్రారంభిస్తున్నామని చెప్పారు. పరిశ్రమలకు కావాల్సిన నైపుణ్యాలు అందించే బాధ్యత తమ ప్రభుత్వం తీసుకుంటుందని సీఎం రేవంత్రెడ్డి తెలిపారు.
గత పదేండ్లలో ఉద్యోగ ఉపాధి అవకాశాలు లేనందుకు రాష్ట్రంలో కొంత మంది యువత గంజాయి, డ్రగ్స్ లాంటి వ్యసనాలకు బానిసయ్యారని ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఆందోళన వ్యక్తం చేశారు. ఇటీవల పట్టుబడిన డ్రగ్ పెడలర్స్ లో ఇంజనీరింగ్ స్టూడెంట్స్ ఉండటం ఆందోళన కలిగించిందని అన్నారు. డ్రగ్స్, గంజాయి నియంత్రించాల్సిన బాధ్యత మనందరిపై ఉందని విద్యార్థులు, వారి తల్లిదండ్రులకు పిలుపునిచ్చారు. వ్యసనాల నుంచి యువతను బయటపడేయాలంటే ఉపాధి కల్పించాల్సిన అవశ్యముందన్నారు.
ఇంజినీరింగ్ విద్యార్థులు జాబ్ స్కిల్స్ నేర్చుకోవడం లేదని, కొన్ని కళాశాలల్లో అధ్యాపకులు, వసతులు, కనీస ప్రమాణాలు ఉండటం లేదని సీఎం అన్నారు. కళాశాలలు ఇలాగే కొనసాగితే గుర్తింపు రద్దు చేసేందుకు వెనుకాడమని హెచ్చరించారు.
టాటా టెక్నాలజీస్ సహకారంతో ఐటీఐలను అప్ గ్రేడ్ చేసి అడ్వాన్స్డ్ టెక్నాలజీ సెంటర్లుగా మారుస్తున్నామని, ఇప్పటికే మల్లేపల్లి ఐటీఐలో పైలెట్ ప్రాజెక్టు అమలు చేసినట్లు చెప్పారు. దీంతో ఐటీఐ చదివిన ప్రతి విద్యార్థికి ఉద్యోగం లభిస్తుందని అన్నారు. రాబోయే రెండేళ్లలో రాష్ట్రంలోని అన్నిఐటీఐలను ఏటీసీలుగా మారుస్తామని అన్నారు.
ఇటీవలే యంగ్ ఇండియా స్కిల్ యూనివర్సిటీని ప్రభుత్వం నెలకొల్పిందని, మహీంద్రా గ్రూప్ ఛైర్మన్ ఆనంద్ మహీంద్రాను బోర్డు ఛైర్మన్గా నియమించిన విషయాన్ని గుర్తు చేశారు. దీంతో ఏటా వేలాది మంది యువతకు వివిధ రంగాల్లో జాబ్ గ్యారంటీ కోర్సులు నిర్వహిస్తామని చెప్పారు.
పాలిటెక్నిక్ కాలేజీలను అప్ గ్రేడ్ చేస్తామని అన్నారు త్వరలో యంగ్ ఇండియా స్పోర్ట్స్ యూనివర్సిటీ , స్పోర్ట్స్ అకాడమీ ఏర్పాటు చేసి, తెలంగాణను దేశానికి రోల్ మోడల్ గా తీర్చిదిద్దుతామన్నారు. ఔత్సాహిక క్రీడాకారులను అన్ని విధాలుగా ప్రోత్సహిస్తామని వివరించారు. హైదరాబాద్ పబ్లిక్ స్కూల్ లో చదివిన వారు ప్రపంచంలోనే పెద్ద సంస్థలకు సీఈవోలుగా ఉన్నారని, అలాంటి వారి సహకారం తీసుకుని రాష్ట్రాన్ని అభివృద్ధి పథంలో ముందుకు తీసుకెళతామని సీఎం చెప్పారు.
ఈ ప్రారంభోత్సవ కార్యక్రమంలో ఎక్విప్ సంస్థ రూ. 2.5 కోట్ల చెక్కును ముఖ్యమంత్రికి అందించింది. విద్యార్థుల డేటాతో రూపొందించిన ఎక్విప్ స్కిల్ పోర్టల్ ను ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఈ వేదికపై ఆవిష్కరించారు.
