Chief Minister Sri A Revanth Reddy ordered the officials to construct a new Osmania building at Goshamahal in Hyderabad. The officials have been asked to finalize an action plan for the construction of the new hospital building at the earliest. An area of 32 acres of land at the police stadium and Police Sports Complex in Goshamahal is already available to construct a new Osmania hospital. The Chief Minister asked the authorities to immediately transfer the land, which is currently under the control of the Police Department, to the Medical and Health Department and make arrangements for the construction of the new Osmania Hospital in the same premises.
CM Revanth Reddy held the first review meeting at the Secretariat on Tuesday on the various development works on the top priority under the SPEED (Smart Proactive Efficient and Effective Delivery) program on Tuesday. State Health Minister Damodara Raja Narsimha, Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari and other officials participated in the meeting. Among the 19 works on the speed list, the Chief Minister discussed plans for the construction of a new building of Osmania Hospital, 15 new Nursing Colleges, 28 new Paramedical Colleges and the construction of Samakya buildings in the districts.
The CM asserted that the new Osmania hospital designs should be finalized only after assessing the medical requirements for the next 50 years in the state. Road connectivity to the hospital should also be developed in four directions of the hospital so that people coming from different areas can reach the hospital without any traffic problems. Academic blocks, hostels for nursing staff and all other required departments will be constructed in the new hospital. The CM suggested that all the medical departments and medical services should be available in the hospital premises on the lines of the corporate healthcare facility and also create pleasant open space apart from concrete buildings and multi-storied structures inside the hospital. Experienced architects should be hired to prepare the hospital designs.
The Chief Minister said that the government will take the responsibility of protecting the existing Osmania hospital buildings as historical heritage structures. As part of the Musi Riverfront Development Project, the Osmania hospital buildings will be transformed into historical buildings to attract tourists.
The Chief Minister directed the officials to identify alternative places for the police department to hand over the Goshamahal site to the Medical and Health Department. The District Collector has been asked to visit and inspect the area around the Police Transport Organization, City Police Academy, located in Petlaburj. The police stadium and sports complex, which are located in Goshamahal, will be shifted to another place.
Officials are directed to speed up the construction of new hospitals and to complete 15 nursing college buildings in a year. Nursing colleges will start functioning from this year and arrangements are being made to run them temporarily in the rented buildings.
The Chief Minister said that women self help groups already have Samakhya buildings in 10 districts and new buildings will be constructed in the remaining 22 districts. One acre of land will be allotted to construct the building in every district. The CM ordered the officials to identify the places first and also transfer 3 acres of land allotted to Mahila Sakthi Sangham at Shilparamam in Hyderabad to the department immediately.
Elaborate arrangements will be made to open stalls throughout the year and provide marketing facilities for the products of Mahila Shakti Sangham. The CM asked the officials to promote the entire area as a must-visit place for foreign tourists, dignitaries of various fields and national-level leaders who come to Hyderabad. Different products will be made available in the exhibition throughout the year.

హైదరాబాద్లోని గోషామహల్ లో ఉస్మానియా హాస్పిటల్ కొత్త భవనాన్ని నిర్మించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఎ.రేవంత్ రెడ్డి అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. అందుకు అవసరమైన కార్యాచరణ ప్రణాళికను వేగవంతం చేయాలని చెప్పారు. గోషా మహల్ లోని పోలీస్ స్టేడియం, పోలీస్ స్పోర్ట్స్ కాంప్లెక్స్కు దాదాపు 32 ఎకరాల స్థలముంది. ప్రస్తుతం పోలీస్ విభాగం అధ్వర్యంలో ఉన్న ఈ స్థలాన్ని వెంటనే వైద్య ఆరోగ్య శాఖకు బదిలీ చేయాలని అధికారులను సీఎం ఆదేశించారు. అక్కడే ఉస్మానియా ఆసుపత్రి నిర్మాణానికి ఏర్పాట్లు చేయాలని చెప్పారు.
రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం అత్యంత ప్రాధాన్యంగా ఎంచుకున్న స్పీడ్ (స్మార్ట్ ప్రోయాక్టివ్ ఎఫిషియెంట్ అండ్ ఎఫెక్టివ్ డెలివరీ) ప్రణాళికలో ఉన్న వివిధ అభివృద్ధి పనులపై ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఎ.రేవంత్ రెడ్డి మంగళవారం సచివాలయంలో తొలి సమీక్ష సమావేశం నిర్వహించారు. వైద్య ఆరోగ్య శాఖ మంత్రి దామోదర రాజనర్సింహ, ప్రభుత్వ ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి శాంతి కుమారి, ఇతర అధికారులు ఈ సమావేశంలో పాల్గొన్నారు. స్పీడ్ జాబితాలో ఉన్న 19 పనుల్లో ఉస్మానియా ఆసుపత్రి కొత్త భవన నిర్మాణం, 15 కొత్త నర్సింగ్ కాలేజీలు, 28 కొత్త పారామెడికల్ కాలేజీలు, జిల్లాల్లో సమాఖ్య భవనాల నిర్మాణాలకు సంబంధించిన ప్రణాళికలను ముఖ్యమంత్రి చర్చించారు.
రాబోయే 50 ఏళ్ల అవసరాలను అంచనా వేసుకొని, కొత్త ఆసుపత్రి నిర్మాణ డిజైన్లు ఉండాలని సీఎం అధికారులను అప్రమత్తం చేశారు. వివిధ ప్రాంతాల నుంచి వచ్చే ప్రజలకు ట్రాఫిక్ ఇబ్బంది లేకుండా అక్కడికి చేరుకునే కనెక్టివిటీ రోడ్లను అభివృద్ధి చేయాలని, ఆసుపత్రి చుట్టూరా నలు దిశలా రోడ్డు ఉండేలా డిజైన్ చేయాలని చెప్పారు. ఆసుపత్రికి అవసరమైన అన్ని విభాగాలతో పాటు అకడమిక్ బ్లాక్, నర్సింగ్ ఉద్యోగులకు హాస్టళ్లు కూడా నిర్మించాలని ఆదేశించారు. కార్పొరేట్ తరహాలో వైద్య విభాగాలు, సేవలన్నీ అక్కడే అందుబాటులో ఉండాలని సూచించారు. కేవలం కాంక్రీట్ భవంతులు, బహుళ అంతస్తులు కాకుండా ఆహ్లాదకరమైన విశాలమైన ఖాళీ ప్రాంగణం ఎక్కువగా ఉండేలా డిజైన్లు ఉండాలని సూచించారు. ఉస్మానియా ఆసుపత్రి నిర్మాణానికి సంబంధించి అనుభవజ్ఙులైన ఆర్కిటెక్ట్స్ లతో డిజైన్ లను తయారు చేయించాలని అన్నారు.
ఇప్పుడున్న ఉస్మానియా హాస్పిటల్ భవనాలను చారిత్రక కట్టడాలుగా పరిరక్షించే బాధ్యతను చేపడుతామని ముఖ్యమంత్రి చెప్పారు. మూసీ రివర్ డెవెలప్మెంట్ ప్రాజెక్టులో భాగంగా అక్కడున్న భవనాలను పర్యాటకులను ఆకట్టుకునే చారిత్రక భవనాలుగా తీర్చిదిద్దుతామని అన్నారు.
గోషామహల్ స్థలాన్ని వైద్య ఆరోగ్య శాఖకు అప్పగించినందుకు పోలీసు విభాగానికి ప్రత్నామ్నాయ స్థలం కేటాయించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. పేట్ల బుర్జులో ఉన్న పోలీస్ ట్రాన్స్ పోర్ట్ ఆర్గనైజేషన్, సిటీ పోలీస్ అకాడమీ, చుట్టూ ఉన్న స్థలాన్ని క్షేత్రస్థాయికి వెళ్లి పరిశీలించాలని జిల్లా కలెక్టర్ ను ఆదేశించారు. ఇప్పుడు గోషా మహల్ లో ఉన్న పోలీస్ స్టేడియం, స్పోర్ట్స్ కాంప్లెక్స్ ను అక్కడికి తరలించేలా చూడాలని చెప్పారు.
రాష్ట్రంలో కొత్తగా నిర్మించే ఆసుపత్రుల పనులను వేగవంతం చేయాలని, 15 నర్సింగ్ కాలేజీ భవనాలను వచ్చే ఏడాదిలోగా పూర్తి చేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. అందుకు వీలుగా ప్రణాళిక చేసుకోవాలని సూచించారు. ఈ ఏడాది నుంచే నర్సింగ్ కాలేజీలను ప్రారంభించాలని, తాత్కాలికంగా అద్దె భవనాల్లో వీటిని నిర్వహించే ఏర్పాట్లు చేయాలని చెప్పారు.
మహిళా స్వయం సహాయక సంఘాలకు ఇప్పటికే పది జిల్లాల్లో సమాఖ్య భవనాలున్నాయని, మిగతా 22 జిల్లాల్లో కొత్త భవనాల నిర్మాణం చేపట్టాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి నిర్ణయించారు. ఒక్కో జిల్లాలో సమాఖ్య భవనాలకు ఒక ఎకరం స్థలం కేటాయించేందుకు అంగీకరించారు. ముందుగా స్థలాలను గుర్తించాలని అధికారులను సీఎం ఆదేశించారు. హైదరాబాద్ లోని శిల్పారామం పక్కనే మహిళా శక్తి సంఘాలకు కేటాయించిన మూడు ఎకరాల స్థలాన్ని వెంటనే ఆ విభాగానికి బదిలీ చేయాలని సీఎం ఆదేశించారు. మహిళా శక్తి సంఘాలు తయారు చేసే తమ ఉత్పత్తులతో అక్కడ ఏడాది పొడవునా వివిధ స్టాళ్లు నిర్వహించేలా భారీ ఏర్పాట్లు చేయాలని చెప్పారు. ప్రపంచ స్థాయి అతిథులు, వివిధ రంగాల ప్రముఖులు, జాతీయ స్థాయి నేతలు ఎవరు హైదరాబాద్ కు వచ్చినా తప్పకుండా సందర్శించే స్థలంగా ఆ ప్రాంతాన్ని తీర్చిదిద్దాలని సూచించారు. ఏడాది పొడవునా నిర్వహించే ఎగ్జిబిషన్ లా వివిధ రకాల ఉత్పత్తులు అక్కడ అందరికీ అందుబాటులో ఉంచాలని అన్నారు.
