Chief Minister Sri A Revanth Reddy made it clear that the farm loan waiver scheme up to Rs 2 lakh will apply to every farmer family who possessed the land passbook. The Chief Minister disclosed many details about the implementation of the loan waiver scheme in the Collectors conference held at Secretariat today (Tuesday). The CM said that ration card is being used only for family identification. The total number of ration cards in the state are 90 lakh and the number of farmer accounts with bank loans are only 70 lakh. The Chief Minister clarified that 6.36 lakh farmers who do not possess ration cards and took farm loans are also eligible to avail the farm loan waiver benefit. CM Revanth Reddy made it clear that the farmers are not being meted injustice for not having ration cards.
The Chief Minister ordered the collectors to hold a meeting with the district bankers at 11 am on the 18th (Thursday). The CM said that the funds released by the government for loan waiver scheme should be utilized for only farmer loan waiver and not for personal or other loan waivers. The Chief Minister warned that action will be taken if the farm loan funds are diverted. In the past, the union government took action against some banks for diverting the funds.
CM Revanth Reddy said that the loan waiver funds up to Rs one lakh will be deposited in the farmers accounts at 4 pm on July 18. The Chief Minister suggested organizing a gathering of farm loan waiver scheme beneficiaries at Rythu Vedikas. The Ministers, MLAs and other public representatives of the respective districts should also attend and share the happiness with the farmers. A senior level officer will be made available for two districts (old district) in the secretariat to clarify the doubts, if any, raised by the Collectors on the loan waiver scheme and resolve them immediately.

భూమి పాసుబుక్ పై రుణం ఉన్న ప్రతి రైతు కుటుంబానికి రూ.2 లక్షల రుణమాఫీ వర్తిస్తుందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి స్పష్టం చేశారు. రాష్ట్ర సచివాలయంలో కలెక్టర్లతో మంగళవారం నిర్వహించిన సదస్సులో ముఖ్యమంత్రి రుణమాఫీపై పలు విషయాలు వెల్లడించారు. కేవలం కుటుంబ నిర్ధారణకే రేషన్ కార్డును వాడుతున్నామని తెలిపారు. రాష్ట్రంలో 90 లక్షల రేషన్ కార్డులు ఉంటే రుణాలు ఉన్న రైతు ఖాతాల సంఖ్య 70 లక్షలేనన్నారు. రేషన్ కార్డులు లేని 6.36 లక్షల మందికి రుణాలు ఉన్నాయని, వారికి రుణమాఫీ వర్తిస్తుందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి తెలిపారు. రేషన్ కార్డులు లేనంత మాత్రాన ఆ రైతులకు అన్యాయం జరగనివ్వమని స్పష్టం చేశారు. 18వ తేదీ ఉదయం (గురువారం) 11 గంటలకు కలెక్టర్లు జిల్లా బ్యాంకర్లతో సమావేశం నిర్వహించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ఆదేశించారు. రుణమాఫీకి ప్రభుత్వం విడుదల చేసే నిధులను రైతు రుణమాఫీకే వాడాలని, వ్యక్తిగత, ఇతర రుణాల మాఫీకి వినియోగించవద్దని సూచించాలన్నారు. గతంలో కొందరు బ్యాంకర్లు అలానే చేస్తే కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం చర్యలు తీసుకుందని, ఇప్పుడు అలానే చేస్తామని హెచ్చరించారు. 18వ తేదీ సాయంత్రం నాలుగు గంటలకు రూ.లక్ష వరకు రుణమాఫీ నిధులు రైతుల ఖాతాల్లో జమ అవుతాయని ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి తెలిపారు. రుణమాఫీ జరిగే రైతులను రైతు వేదికల వద్దకు తీసుకురావాలని, ఆయా జిల్లాల మంత్రులు, ఎమ్మెల్యేలు, ఇతర ప్రజా ప్రతినిధులు రైతులతో ఆ సంతోషాన్ని పంచుకోవాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి సూచించారు. రైతు రుణమాఫీకి సంబంధించి సచివాలయంలో రెండు జిల్లాలకు (ఉమ్మడి జిల్లాల చొప్పున) ఒక ఉన్నతాధికారిని అందుబాటులో ఉంచుతామని, కలెక్టర్లకు ఏవైనా సందేహాలు వస్తే వారితో సంప్రదించి నివృత్తి చేసుకోవాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి సూచించారు.
