A delegation led by Cushman and Wakefield Asia Pacific CEO Matthew Bouw called on Chief Minister Sri A Revanth Reddy at the Secretariat on Tuesday. IT and Industry Minister D Sridhar Babu and officials participated in the meeting. The delegation and CM Revanth Reddy discussed the fast development of Hyderabad as a Global city and the expansion of other sectors.
The Cushman and Wakefield delegation shared the details of their study including the rapid growth of Hyderabad City in the country. The study disclosed the details of significant growth registered in Hyderabad in leasing, office space, construction and residential space along with realty in the last six months. The delegation informed the CM that a report on the development of metro cities in the country will be released in July end this year. The company has been releasing a report on the development of cities every six months. CM Revanth Reddy said that Hyderabad will emerge as a wonderful city by taking up the Musi Riverfront Development project, Regional Ring Road ( RRR) and the expansion of Metro Rail.
The CM said that the state government is not confined to competing Hyderabad with other cities in the country but also making all efforts to promote the city of Hyderabad as one of the best cities in the world. The Chief Minister opined that the number of people staying in America from Telangana and the number of people returning from USA are increasing. Hence, Hyderabad should be developed on par with New York City, the CM said.

గడిచిన ఆరు నెలల్లో హైదరాబాద్‌లో లీజింగ్‌, ఆఫీస్‌ స్పేస్, రెసిడెన్షియల్ స్పేస్ కోసం పెరిగిన డిమాండ్ తో రియాల్టీ రంగం గణనీయమైన వృద్ధిని నమోదు చేసిందని చెప్పారు. దేశ వ్యాప్తంగా ప్రధాన నగరాలకు సంబంధించి ప్రతి ఆరు నెలలకోసారి వెలువరించే నివేదిక జూలై నెలాఖరులో విడుదలవుతుందని తెలిపారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారు మాట్లాడుతూ, తమ ప్రభుత్వం చేపట్టిన మూసీ పునరుజ్జీవ ప్రాజెక్టు, రీజనల్ రింగ్ రోడ్డు, మెట్రో రైలు రూట్ విస్తరణతో హైదరాబాద్ మరింత అద్భుతంగా తయారవుతుందని చెప్పారు.
తెలంగాణ నుంచి అమెరికాలో ఉంటున్న వారి సంఖ్య, అక్కడికి వెళ్లి వచ్చే వారి సంఖ్య పెరిగిందని చెబుతూ న్యూయార్క్ వంటి నగరాలతో పోల్చుకునేలా హైదరాబాద్‌ను తీర్చిదిద్దాల్సి ఉందని చెప్పారు. ఈ సమావేశంలో మంత్రి శ్రీధర్ బాబు, ఇతర ఉన్నతాధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
