- Requests transfer of 2,450 acres of defence lands to state for roads and flyovers construction in Hyderabad
- Appeals to renew permission for Warangal Sainik School
Chief Minister Sri A Revanth Reddy appealed to Defence Minister Sri Rajnath Singh to transfer 2,450 acres of defence lands to Telangana Government for taking up the widening of roads and other civic infrastructure development projects in Hyderabad city. The Chief Minister called on Rajnath Singh in Delhi on Monday.
The CM brought to the notice of the Defence Minister about the utilization of 2,462 acres of land, owned by the state government, for Imarat Research Centre (RCI) at Ravirala village. Since the Defence wing was using state lands for RCI, the CM requested Rajnath Singh to transfer 2,450 acres of land for the construction of roads, flyovers and other infrastructure in Hyderabad city as well as surrounding areas. CM Revanth Reddy appealed to the Defence minister to accept the mutual transfer of lands of the state government and the defence department.
The Chief Minister also brought to the notice of the Defence Minister that the Union Government has already sanctioned a Sainik School for Warangal. The previous state government did not take any steps for the construction of the school. The CM requested the Defence Minister to renew or grant a fresh permit for Warangal Sainik School as the permission granted earlier has expired.

హైద‌రాబాద్‌లో ర‌హ‌దారుల విస్త‌ర‌ణ, ఇత‌ర అవ‌స‌రాల‌కు రక్షణ శాఖ భూములు 2,450 ఎక‌రాల‌ను తెలంగాణ ప్ర‌భుత్వానికి బ‌దలాయించాల‌ని రక్షణ శాఖ మంత్రి రాజ్‌నాథ్ సింగ్‌కు ముఖ్య‌మంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి విజ్ఞ‌ప్తి చేశారు. ఢిల్లీలో రక్షణ శాఖ మంత్రి రాజ్‌నాథ్ సింగ్‌ను ముఖ్య‌మంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి సోమ‌వారం క‌లిశారు. రావిరాల గ్రామంలో తెలంగాణ ప్ర‌భుత్వానికి చెందిన 2,462 ఎక‌రాల భూముల‌ను ఇమార‌త్ ప‌రిశోధ‌న కేంద్రం (ఆర్‌సీఐ) ఉప‌యోగించుకుంటున్న విష‌యాన్ని ముఖ్య‌మంత్రి రక్షణ శాఖ మంత్రి దృష్టికి తీసుకెళ్లారు.
హైద‌రాబాద్ న‌గ‌రంతో పాటు న‌గ‌రం చుట్టు ప‌క్క‌ల ప్రాంతాల్లో ర‌హ‌దారుల విస్త‌ర‌ణ, ఫ్లైఓవ‌ర్లు, ఇత‌ర మౌలిక స‌దుపాయాల క‌ల్ప‌న‌కు రక్షణ శాఖ భూములు త‌మ‌కు అవ‌స‌ర‌మ‌ని, ఆర్‌సీఐ రాష్ట్ర ప్ర‌భుత్వ భూములు వినియోగించుకుంటున్నందున రక్షణ శాఖ భూములు 2,450 ఎక‌రాలు త‌మ‌కు అప్ప‌గించాల‌ని కేంద్ర మంత్రిని ముఖ్య‌మంత్రి కోరారు. రాష్ట్ర ప్ర‌భుత్వం, రక్షణ శాఖ భూముల ప‌ర‌స్ప‌ర బ‌దిలీకి అంగీక‌రించాల‌ని రక్షణ శాఖ మంత్రికి ముఖ్య‌మంత్రి విజ్ఙ‌ప్తి చేశారు.
వ‌రంగ‌ల్ న‌గ‌రానికి గ‌తంలోనే సైనిక్ స్కూల్ మంజూరు చేసినా గ‌త రాష్ట్ర ప్ర‌భుత్వం నిర్మాణప‌రంగా ఎటువంటి చ‌ర్య‌లు తీసుకోలేద‌ని రక్షణ శాఖ మంత్రి రాజ్‌నాథ్ సింగ్ దృష్టికి ముఖ్య‌మంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి తీసుకెళ్లారు. వ‌రంగ‌ల్ సైనిక్ స్కూల్ అనుమ‌తుల గ‌డువు ముగిసినందున అనుమ‌తులు పున‌రుద్ధ‌రించాల‌ని లేదా తాజాగా మంజూరు చేయాల‌ని కేంద్ర మంత్రిని ముఖ్య‌మంత్రి కోరారు.
