Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A Revanth Reddy announced that he will take the responsibility of making one crore women as millionaires in the state in the next five years. The Chief Minister said that 63 lakh women have already registered in the Self-Help Groups (SHGS) in the state and the number will be increased to one crore soon . All the one crore women members will be nurtured to become millionaires, the CM said.
The Chief Minister addressed the Mahalakshmi-Swashakti Mahila Convention attended by one lakh women group members at the Parade Grounds today (Tuesday). The CM said that Telangana will become a “Golden Telangana and Rich Telangana” only when one crore women become millionaires and make their children doctors, lawyers, IAS and IPS officials.
The CM also inspected the stalls set up by the women of self-help groups at the convention venue and interacted with the group members. The members explained the lack of proper marketing facilities for their products to the Chief Minister. In a quick response, CM Revanth Reddy announced that the government will construct 100 shops near Shilparamam for SHGs to sell their products. With such a facility, the CM said that the women groups will also compete with Tata, Birla, Adanis and Ambani companies. The facility will also help to promote their business at the national and international levels. The Chief Minister said that the Congress party represents Indira Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi and they are proud to work under the leadership of such great women leaders.
CM Revanth visits stalls and interacts with SHG members
CM Revanth Reddy visited the stalls set up by SHGs before addressing the women convention . The CM enquired the SHGs about the products made by the respective societies, details of raw material collection, manufacturing and marketing.
Linkage of Rs One lakh crore loans
The CM unveiled the “ Mahila Shakti Mahila Unnati-Telangana Pragathi Vision” Document along with his cabinet colleagues. The CM said that , In the next five years, Rs One lakh crore loan linkage facility will be provided to the SHGs through banks. Revival of interest-free loans, branding and marketing of community products, training for communities, loan insurance for community members, life insurance of Rs. 10 lakhs for women , Mid-day meal scheme in the educational institutes by SHGs etc included in the vision document.
CM Revanth Reddy praises Women Self Help Groups
Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A Revanth Reddy visited the stalls set up by the Women Self Help Groups ( SHGs) under the supervision of the Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty ( SERP) at ‘Swashakthi Women Convention’ at Parade grounds in Secunderabad today ( Tuesday). The Chief Minister appreciated the women groups for successfully running the self-employment centers. The SHGs from the different districts showcased their products in the stalls. The CM visited each stall and enquired the women about their products. The SHG members expressed happiness in encouraging entrepreneurs by the government. The women group members brought their problems to the notice of CM Revanth Reddy. In a quick response, the CM assured that arrangements for proper marketing facilities for their products will be made soon. The Chief Minister clarified that the aim of the ‘Indiramma government’ is to promote women as business entrepreneurs and make them millionaires. Banjara products, nakashi paintings, darris, loom work, computer embroidery, school uniforms, tassar sarees, handlooms, tie and dye clothes, Gollabhama Sarees, leather products, woodcarving products, coconut fiber products are among the products displayed in the stalls. Millet Products, Digi Pay Point, VLE Point, Pashumitra, Modern Farm Machinery, Wood Crafts, and Home Foods stalls also opened. The CM praised women groups for becoming millionaires through self-employment. CM Revanth Reddy made the promise of introducing more programmes to increase the income of women groups.
“మీ కష్టం చూసిన, మీ నైపుణ్యం చూసిన, మీ ఉత్పత్తులను చూసిన, మీ శక్తి మీద నాకు నమ్మకం ఉంది. మీ ఉత్పత్తులను అమ్ముకోవడానికి రాబోయే నెల రోజుల్లో శిల్పారామం పక్కన వంద షాపులను కట్టించి జాతీయ, అంతర్జాతీయ స్థాయిలో గుర్తింపు వచ్చేలా మీ వస్తువుల విక్రయానికి అవకాశం కల్పిస్తాం” అని ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి స్వశక్తి మహిళా సంఘాలకు హామీ ఇచ్చారు. రాష్ట్రంలోని మహిళా సంఘాల్లో 63 లక్షల మంది సభ్యులున్నారు. రానున్న రోజుల్లో కోటి మంది మహిళలు చేరాలని పిలుపునిచ్చారు. కోటి మందిని కోటీశ్వరులను చేస్తే మన రాష్ట్రం బంగారు తెలంగాణ అవుతుందని అన్నారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా మహిళా ప్రగతికి విధాన పత్రం విడుదల చేశారు.
- మంగళవారం సికింద్రాబాద్‌లోని పరేడ్ గ్రౌండ్స్‌లో మహాలక్ష‍్మి స్వశక్తి మహిళా సదస్సులో ముఖ్యమంత్రి ప్రసంగించారు. లక్ష మంది ఆడబిడ్డలతో సమావేశం ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని 48 గంటల ముందు చెబితే మీరంతా హాజరై మహిళా శక్తిని నిరూపించారు. మీ శక్తి మీద నాకు నమ్మకం ఉంది. నెల రోజుల్లో మహాలక్ష‍్మిలకు షాపులను ఏర్పాటు చేసి వాటి చట్టబద్ధత కల్పించి పూర్తి స్థాయి వ్యవస్థను ఏర్పాటు చేస్తామన్నారు.
- మీ కష్టాలను చూసే ఆడబిడ్డలకు అండగా నిలవాలన్న లక్ష‍్యంతోనే ఆరు గ్యారెంటీలను తీసుకొచ్చామని గుర్తుచేశారు. మహిళలకు ఉచిత బస్సు ప్రయాణం అందించే మహాలక్ష‍్మి పథకం, 200 యూనిట్ల వరకు ఉచిత కరెంటు ఇచ్చే గృహలక్ష‍్మి పథకం, ఆరోగ్యశ్రీ పరిమితిని 5 లక్షల నుంచి 10 లక్షల రూపాయలకు పెంచడం, ఆడబిడ్డలు ఆత్మగౌరవంతో బతకాలని ఇందరమ్మ ఇండ్లు, వారి కన్నీళ్లు తుడవాలని రూ. 500లకే గ్యాస్‌ సిలిండర్‌ అందించే కార్యక్రమాలకు శ్రీకారం చుట్టినట్టు ముఖ్యమంత్రి వివరించారు.
- ప్రభుత్వం ఏర్పడే నాటికి 7 లక్షల కోట్ల అప్పులు ఉన్నప్పటికీ ఒక్కొక్కటిగా చక్కదిద్దుకుంటూ ఆడబిడ్డల కోసం అనేక కార్యక్రమాలు చేపట్టామన్నారు. ఆడబిడ్డల ఆశీర్వచనాలతోనే మా ప్రభుత్వం ఏర్పడింది. వచ్చే ఐదేళ్లలో ఆడబిడ్డలను కోటీశ్వరులను చేసే బాధ్యత ఇందరమ్మ ప్రభుత్వం తీసుకుంటుంది. మా సైన్యం మీరే, మా బలగం మీరే, రాబోయే రోజుల్లో 10 లక్షల మంది ఆడబిడ్డలతో కవాతు నిర్వహిస్తామని చెప్పారు. సదస్సులో మొదట మంత్రులతో కలిసి మహిళా సంఘాలు ఏర్పాటు చేసిన స్టాల్స్‌ను సందర్శించి ఆయా సంఘాల ఉత్పత్తులను పరిశీలించారు.
మహిళలను అభినందించిన సీఎం
సికింద్రాబాద్ పరేడ్ గ్రౌండ్ లో స్వశక్తి మహిళా సదస్సుకు హాజరైన ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి మొదటగా సదస్సు ఆవరణలో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన తెలంగాణ గ్రామీణ పేదరిక నిర్మూలన సంస్థ ఆధ్వర్యంలో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన స్టాల్స్ ను సందర్శించారు. స్వయం ఉపాధి కేంద్రాలతో మహిళలు రాణిస్తున్న తీరును సీఎం అభినందించారు. రాష్ట్రంలోని వివిధ జిల్లాలకు చెందిన స్వయం సహాయక సంఘాల మహిళలు తాము తయారు చేసిన ఉత్పత్తులను స్టాల్స్ లో ప్రదర్శించారు. ఒక్కొక్క స్టాల్ ను సందర్శిస్తూ, ఉత్పత్తులకు సంబంధించి మహిళలను వివరాలు అడిగి తెలుసుకున్నారు సీఎం. ప్రభుత్వం తమను ప్రోత్సహిస్తున్న తీరుపై మహిళలు సంతోషం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. తమ సమస్యలను ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి దృష్టికి తీసుకెళ్లారు. మహిళలు తయారు చేసే ఉత్పత్తులకు సరైన మార్కెటింగ్ సదుపాయాలు కల్పించే ఏర్పాట్లు చేస్తామని సీఎం హామీ ఇచ్చారు. మహిళలను మరింతగా ప్రోత్సహించి వారిని కోటీశ్వరులను చేయడమే ఇందిరమ్మ ప్రభుత్వం లక్ష్యమని స్పష్టం చేశారు. స్వశక్తి మహిళా సదస్సు ఆవరణలో ఏర్పాటు చేసిన పది స్టాళ్లలో బంజారా ఉత్పత్తులు, సిషల్ ఆర్టికల్స్, నకాషి పెయింటింగ్స్, డర్రిస్, మగ్గం వర్క్, కంప్యూటర్ ఎంబ్రాయిడరీ, స్కూల్ యూనిఫామ్స్, టస్సార్ సారీస్, హ్యాండ్లూమ్స్, టై అండ్ డై క్లాత్స్, గొల్లభామ చీరలు, లెథర్ ఉత్పత్తులు, చెక్కబొమ్మల ఉత్పత్తులు, కొబ్బరి పీచు ఉత్పత్తులు, పెంబర్తి బ్రాస్, మిల్లెట్ ఉత్పత్తులు, digi పే పాయింట్, VLE పాయింట్, పశుమిత్ర, ఆధునిక వ్యవసాయ యంత్రాలు, ఉడ్ క్రాఫ్ట్స్, హోమ్ ఫుడ్స్ కు సంబంధించిన స్టాల్స్ ఉన్నాయి. స్వయం ఉపాధితో పేదరికం నుంచి లక్షాధికారులుగా మారిన మహిళల స్పూర్తిని సీఎం అభినందించారు. మహిళల ఆదాయాన్ని పేంచేందుకు మరిన్ని కార్యక్రమాలు తీసుకుంటామని హామీ ఇచ్చారు.
