Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy directed the officials to take strict measures to provide proper nutritious food to pregnant women and infants in the Anganwadi centers. NFHS (National Family Health Survey) revealed the alarming situation that pregnant women, infants and children are falling sick due to malnutrition and anemia. The Chief Minister said that dropping of the health standards is not a good sign and suggested to the authorities to monitor whether the nutritional food is being delivered to the actual beneficiaries through the Anganwadi centers regularly. Adequate measures should be taken to prevent the misuse of nutritious food by showing wrong details in the records.
CM Sri Revanth Reddy instructed the officials to implement biometrics for pregnant women, infants and children and also install CC cameras at the centers. Biometric systems will be set up in all the 35,000 Anganwadi centers in the state. The CM asked the officials to ensure the preservation of all records in the digital form so that auditing can be done easily.
As there are no adequate Anganwadi centers to meet the requirements in the GHMC limits, the CM and officials discussed the concept of mobile Anganwadi centers. The CM suggested to study the procedures implemented in other states and take it up as a pilot project. In order to reach the Women and Child Welfare schemes to the needy, a special weekly festival programme will be organized every six months and a wide campaign will be carried out. The meeting also discussed the importance of creating awareness on the use of sanitary napkins from school level and distributing them to the girl students. The CM ordered the officials to make arrangements to set up sanitary napkins manufacturing units by the women of self-help groups. This program will be carried out in coordination with the Education Department, Women and Child Welfare Department and Rural Development.
12,315 Anganwadi centers in the state are functioning in the rented buildings. The CM ordered the officials to prepare proposals to construct their own buildings. The construction of Anganwadi buildings will be taken up as the first priority by utilising the Employment Guarantee Scheme funds. The CM made suggestions that the branding of Anganwadi centers should have an unique design everywhere in the state. All the buildings of the Anganwadi centers should be specially designed to grab attention. These centers will be beautified with pictures and attractive colors to promote mother and child welfare. The CM also suggested to examine the feasibility of providing pre-primary education to children under the age of 10 in Anganwadi centers, if necessary.
The Chief Minister ordered to implement reservation in education and job opportunities to the differently abled immediately. The officials brought to the CM’s attention that 4 percent reservation in jobs, 5 percent in education opportunities and 5 percent in all schemes should be provided to the differently abled. The CM asked the officials to draft the file and send it immediately. CM Sri Revanth Reddy said that the cooperation of corporate bodies should be taken for setting up more old age homes in the state. The meeting discussed that medical facilities are not available for transgenders and they are being treated at only Gandhi and Osmania Hospitals. The CM instructed the officials to provide medical treatment to transgenders in all the teaching hospitals connected with the medical colleges. A special policy will be brought into force to ensure that all the government schemes are applicable to them and provide equal opportunities to avail the benefits of the welfare schemes.

అంగన్వాడీ కేంద్రాల్లో గర్భిణీలు, బాలింతలకు సరైన పౌష్టికాహారం అందించేలా కట్టుదిట్టమైన చర్యలు చేపట్టాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ ఏ. రేవంత్ రెడ్డి అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. పౌష్టికాహార లోపం, రక్తహీనతతో రాష్ట్రంలో గర్బిణులు, బాలింతలు, చిన్నారులు అనారోగ్యం పాలవుతున్నట్లు ఎన్హెచ్ఎఫ్ఎస్ వెల్లడించిన గణాంకాలు ఆందోళనకరంగా ఉన్నాయని అన్నారు. ఆరోగ్య ప్రమాణాలు పెరగాల్సింది పోయి, దిగజారటం సరైంది కాదని ముఖ్యమంత్రి అన్నారు. అందుకే అంగన్ వాడీ కేంద్రాల ద్వారా పౌష్ఠికాహారం అసలైన లబ్ధిదారులకు అందుతుందా.. లేదా పక్కాగా అధికారులు పర్యవేక్షించాలని సీఎం సూచించారు. కేవలం రికార్డుల్లో రాసుకొని పౌష్ఠికాహారం దుర్వినియోగం జరగకుండా ఉండేందుకు తగిన చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని చెప్పారు. గర్భిణులు, బాలింతలు, చిన్నారులకు బయో మెట్రిక్ అమలు చేయాలని సీఎం ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేశారు. రాష్ట్రంలో ఉన్న 35 వేల అంగన్ వాడీ కేంద్రాల్లోనూ సీసీ కెమెరాలు, వాటి పరిధిలో బయోమెట్రిక్ విధానం ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని సూచించారు. ఆడిటింగ్ వీలుండేలా అన్ని రికార్డులను డిజిటల్ రూపంలో భద్రపరచాలని చెప్పారు.
జీహెచ్ఎంసీ పరిధిలో జనాభాకు సరిపడే అంగన్వాడీ కేంద్రాలు లేనందున, మొబైల్ అంగన్వాడీ కేంద్రాలను ఏర్పాటు చేయాలనే చర్చ జరిగింది. ఇతర రాష్ట్రాల్లో అమలవుతున్న విధానాలను అధ్యయనం చేసి పైలెట్ ప్రాజెక్టుగా చేపట్టాలని సీఎం సూచించారు. మహిళా శిశు సంక్షేమ శాఖ పథకాలను మరింతగా ప్రజల్లోకి తీసుకెళ్లేందుకు ఆరు నెలలకోసారి ప్రత్యేక వారోత్సవం నిర్వహించి విస్తృతంగా ప్రచారం చేపట్టాలన్నారు. పాఠశాల స్థాయి నుంచే శానిటరీ నాప్కిన్స్ వినియోగంపై బాలికలకు అవగాహన కల్పించి, నాప్కిన్స్ పంపిణీ చేయాలని చర్చ జరిగింది. స్వయం సహాయక సంఘాల మహిళలతో శానిటరీ నాప్కిన్స్ తయారీ చేయించాలని, అందుకు అవసరమైన యూనిట్లు నెలకొల్పాలని ఆదేశించారు. విద్యాశాఖ, స్త్రీ శిశు సంక్షేమ శాఖ, గ్రామీణాభివృద్ధి శాఖ సమన్వయంతో ఈ కార్యక్రమం చేపట్టాలని చెప్పారు.
రాష్ట్రంలో ఉన్న వాటిలో ఇప్పటికే 12,315 అంగన్ వాడీ కేంద్రాలు అద్దె భవనాల్లో ఉన్నాయి. వీటికి సొంత భవనాలను నిర్మించే ప్రతిపాదనలను సిద్ధం చేయాలని సీఎం అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. ఉపాధి హామీ పథకం నిధులను జోడించి మొదటి ప్రాధాన్యతగా అంగన్వాడీ భవన నిర్మాణాలు చేపడుతామని చెప్పారు.
రాష్ట్రమంతటా ఎక్కడ చూసినా ఒకే డిజైన్తో అంగన్వాడీ కేంద్రాల బ్రాండింగ్ ఉండాలని సీఎం పలు సూచనలు చేశారు. చూడగానే ఆకర్షించేలా అంగన్వాడీ కేంద్రాల భవనాలన్నింటికీ ప్రత్యేకంగా డిజైన్ చేయాలని చెప్పారు. మాతా, శిశు సంక్షేమం ఉట్టిపడే చిత్రాలు, ఆకర్షించే రంగులతో ఈ కేంద్రాలను అందంగా తీర్చిదిద్దాలని చెప్పారు. అవసరమైతే ఆరేండ్ల లోపు చిన్నారులకు ప్రీ ప్రైమరీ ఎడ్యుకేషన్ ను అంగన్వాడీ కేంద్రాల్లోనే అందించేందుకు ఉన్న సాధ్యాసాధ్యాలను పరిశీలించాలని సీఎం సూచించారు.
దివ్యాంగులకు విద్య, ఉద్యోగ అవకాశాల్లో రిజర్వేషన్లను వెంటనే అమలు చేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేశారు. చట్ట ప్రకారం ఉద్యోగాల్లో 4 శాతం, విద్యావకాశాల్లో 5 శాతం, అన్ని పథకాల్లో 5 శాతం రిజర్వేషన్లు అమలు కావాల్సి ఉందని అధికారులు సీఎం దృష్టికి తీసుకెళ్లారు. వెంటనే ఫైలు సిద్ధం చేసి పంపించాలని సీఎం ఆదేశించారు. రాష్ట్రంలో మరిన్ని వృద్ధాశ్రమాల ఏర్పాటుకు కార్పొరేట్ సంస్థల సహకారం తీసుకోవాలని చెప్పారు. ట్రాన్స్ జెండర్లకు వైద్య సదుపాయాలు అందుబాటులో లేవని, గాంధీ, ఉస్మానియా హాస్పిటల్లోనే వారికి చికిత్సలు చేస్తున్నారనే చర్చ జరిగింది. మెడికల్ కాలేజీలతో అనుసంధానంగా ఉన్న టీచింగ్ హాస్పిటల్స్ అన్నిట్లో ట్రాన్స్ జెండర్లకు వైద్య చికిత్సలు అందించేందుకు ఏర్పాట్లు చేయాలని సీఎం సూచించారు. ప్రభుత్వ పథకాలన్నీ వారికి వర్తించేలా, వారికి సరైన అవకాశాలు కల్పించేందుకు, సంక్షేమానికి వీలుగా ప్రత్యేక విధానాన్ని తయారు చేయాల్సి ఉందని అన్నారు.
