Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy announced the establishment of a second phase in Hyderabad Genome Valley soon. The Chief Minister inaugurated the Healthcare and Life Sciences Bio Asia 2024 conference at Hitex today ( Tuesday). The CM congratulated Nobel Laureate Professor Greg L. Semenza for being selected for the Genome Valley Excellence 2024 Award this year. The CM accompanied by Industries and IT Minister D Sridhar Babu presented the award to Semenza.
CM Revanth Reddy said “Genome Valley will be established in three hundred acres with an investment of Rs.2000 crores. The process of setting up ten pharma villages with an investment of Rs one lakh crores has already begun. This will open up enormous opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs. The new facility will provide 5 lakh jobs. The pharma villages will be established in greenfield pharma sectors in the Vikarabad, Medak and Nalgonda districts. The greenfield facility is also very convenient for all the entrepreneurs of the world as it is located very close to Hyderabad International Airport” he said.
The Chief Minister said that the BioAsia conference which was being held in Hyderabad has become crucial amid raising the health concerns around the world after the Covid pandemic. The CM said that Hyderabad as the capital of bioscience created confidence in all mankind today. Today, one of every three vaccines used in the world is being produced in Hyderabad itself.
The CM pointed out that Covid has proved that everyone in the world has the same problems in providing health security and the solutions to the problems should be achieved by working together. The Chief Minister said that his government is committed to developing Hyderabad, which is already the capital of IT-software, research and start-up sectors, and also in biosciences. The international and domestic organizations consolidated the systems which are necessary to carry out their activities here without any hurdles. His government is also giving top priority to the MSME sector which creates a bridge between small start-ups and big corporate companies, the CM said.
“My government is ready to fulfill the dreams of the investors and entrepreneurs to grow,” CM Revanth said that Telangana has already received huge investments of Rs.40,232 crores in the recently held World Economic Forum at Davos. The CM welcomed Takeda company for entering into an agreement with Biological- E company to produce 5 crore doses of vaccines annually. “ We are creating confidence in the world that Hyderabad is ready to produce vaccines’, the CM said the Miltenyi company from Germany also set up its research center in Hyderabad. The CM wished the Hyderabad BioAsia conference to be a great success by holding fruitful discussions for the wellbeing of humanity and a step forward.

త్వరలోనే హైదరాబాద్ జీనోమ్ వ్యాలీ రెండవ ఫేజ్ ఏర్పాటు చేస్తామని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ ఏ. రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ప్రకటించారు. హైటెక్స్ లో హెల్త్‌ కేర్, లైఫ్ సైన్సెస్ బయో ఏషియా 2024 సదస్సును ముఖ్యమంత్రి ప్రారంభించారు. ఈ ఏడాది జీనోమ్ వ్యాలీ ఎక్సెలెన్స్ 2024 అవార్డుకు ఎంపికైన నోబెల్ బహుమతి గ్రహిత ప్రొఫెసర్ గ్రెగ్ ఎల్.సెమెంజాను సీఎం అభినందించారు. పరిశ్రమల శాఖ మంత్రి శ్రీ దుద్దిళ్ల శ్రీధర్ బాబుతో కలిసి సెమెంజాకు అవార్డును అందించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా సీఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డి మాట్లాడుతూ ‘మూడు వందల ఎకరాల్లో రూ.2000 కోట్ల పెట్టుబడులతో జీనోమ్ వ్యాలీ ఏర్పాటు చేస్తాం. లక్ష కోట్ల పెట్టుబడులతో పది ఫార్మా విలేజీలను ఏర్పాటు ప్రక్రియ ఇప్పటికే మొదలైంది. దీంతో మౌలిక సదుపాయాలతో పాటు ఔత్సహిక పారిశ్రామికవేత్తలకు అపారమైన అవకాశాలు అందుబాటులోకి వస్తాయి. 5 లక్షల మందికి కొత్త ఉద్యోగాలు లభిస్తాయి. వికారాబాద్, మెదక్, నల్గొండ జిల్లాల్లో గ్రీన్ ఫీల్డ్ ఫార్మా సెక్టార్లలో ఈ ఫార్మా విలేజ్ లను ఏర్పాటు చేస్తాం. హైదరాబాద్ అంతర్జాతీయ విమానాశ్రయం నుంచి ఒక గంట ప్రయాణ దూరంలోని అత్యంత సమీపంలో వీటిని ఏర్పాటు చేస్తున్నందున ప్రపంచంలోని పారిశ్రామికవేత్తలందరికీ ఎంతో సదుపాయంగా ఉంటుంది…’ అన్నారు.
కోవిడ్ తర్వాత ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా ఆరోగ్యానికి సంబంధించిన ఆందోళనలున్న పరిస్థితుల్లో హైదరాబాద్ వేదికగా జరుగుతోన్న బయోఏషియా సదస్సు కీలకంగా మారిందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి అన్నారు. బయోసైన్స్ రాజధానిగా హైదరాబాద్ నేడు యావత్ మానవాళికి ఒక భరోసాగా నిలిచిందని అన్నారు. వైరస్ భయాలను ధీటుగా ఎదుర్కోగలమనే నమ్మకాన్ని హైదరాబాద్ కలిగించిందని, ఇప్పుడు ప్రపంచంలో వినియోగించే ప్రతి మూడు వ్యాక్సిన్లలో ఒకటి హైదరాబాద్ లోనే ఉత్పత్తి అవుతోందని గుర్తు చేశారు.
ఆరోగ్య భద్రత విషయంలో ప్రపంచంలోని అందరి సమస్యలు ఒకేలా ఉన్నాయని కోవిడ్ నిరూపించిందని, అయితే సమస్యల పరిష్కారాలను కూడా మనం కలిసికట్టుగానే సాధించాలని సీఎం సూచించారు. ఒక్క బయో సైన్సెస్ లోనే కాదు, ఐటీ-సాఫ్ట్ వేర్, రీసెర్చ్, స్టార్టప్ రంగాలకు రాజధానిగా ఉన్న హైదరాబాద్ ను మరింత సమున్నతంగా తీర్చిదిద్దేందుకు తమ ప్రభుత్వం కృతనిశ్చయంతో ఉందని సీఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డి చెప్పారు. అంతర్జాతీయ, దేశీయ సంస్థలు ఇక్కడ ఎలాంటి ఆటంకాలు లేకుండా కార్యకలాపాలు నిర్వహించేందుకు అవసరమైన అనుకూల వ్యవస్థలను బలోపేతం చేశామన్నారు. చిన్న స్టార్టప్ లు, పెద్ద కార్పొరేట్ కంపెనీలకు వారధిగా నిలిచే ఎంఎస్ఎంఈ రంగానికి తమ ప్రభుత్వం అధిక ప్రాధాన్యతను ఇస్తుందన్నారు.
“మీరు నింగిలోని తారల వద్దకు చేరాలని కలలు కంటే.. మిమ్మల్ని అక్కడికి తీసుకెళ్లే రాకెట్ లా మా ప్రభుత్వం పనిచేస్తుంది” అని సీఎం వ్యాఖ్యానించారు. ఇటీవల దావోస్ వేదికగా జరిగిన ప్రపంచ ఆర్థిక సదస్సులో తెలంగాణకు భారీ స్థాయిలో రూ.40,232 కోట్ల పెట్టుబడులు వచ్చాయని గుర్తు చేశారు. ఏటా 5కోట్ల డోసుల వ్యాక్సిన్ల ఉత్పత్తే లక్ష్యంగా ప్రఖ్యాత టకేడా సంస్థ ఇక్కడి బయోలాజికల్-ఈ సంస్థతో కలిసి హైదరాబాద్ లో తయారీ కేంద్రం నెలకొల్పడాన్ని స్వాగతించారు. వైరస్ ల వల్ల ప్రపంచంలో నెలకొన్న భయాలకు హైదరాబాద్ నుంచి నమ్మకాన్ని కల్పిస్తున్నామని సీఎం అన్నారు. జర్మనీకి చెందిన మిల్టేనీ సంస్థ తన రీసెర్చ్ సెంటర్ ను హైదరాబాద్ లో ఏర్పాటు చేసిందని చెప్పారు. మానవాళికి మంచి చేసే చర్చలు, ముందడుగుతో హైదరాబాద్ బయో ఏషియా సదస్సు విజయవంతం కావాలని సీఎం ఆకాంక్షించారు.
