- CM is anger at Electricity officials and staff’s neglect approach in power supply

Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A Revanth Reddy warned that strict action will be initiated against the responsible officials and staff if power outages are reported in the state. The Chief Minister made it clear that the government is supplying adequate power to meet the energy demand and no official power cuts will be imposed by the government. The Chief Minister said that the electricity supply has already been increased in the state when compared to the past and expressed his anger at the officials of the Energy department over power outages in many places recently. The CM displeasure at some officials on their neglect of discharging duties sincerely.
CM Revanth Reddy said that it has come to his notice that some people are conspiring to bring bad reputation to the government by spreading misinformation on power supply. The CM warned of strict action against such officers and the staff and alerted the Energy officials to counter the misinformation campaign on power cuts despite the increase of electricity supply.
The Chief Minister grilled the officials about the ongoing campaign on power cuts before reviewing the ‘Gruha Jyoti’ and ‘Rs.500 cooking gas cylinder supply’ schemes at the Secretariat. TRANSCO and GENCO CMD Rizvi explained to the CM that the power supply has increased in the last two months compared to the corresponding period last year. The TRANSCO CMD said the power supply was interrupted for some time in the limits of three sub-stations in the state recently. When the CM asked about the reasons for the power cuts, officials informed that the DEs are supposed to monitor the load fluctuations in the sub-stations properly and the problem arose due to their failure to do so.
The Chief Minister ordered strict action against the officials and staff who discharged their duties carelessly. The CM asked the officials to inform the consumers in the area of the respective sub-stations in advance if the power supply is suspended for any repairs or other maintenance issues. The CM warned that he gathered information about some of the field-level staff, who were appointed during the previous government, deliberately imposing power cuts to bring a bad name to the government. The officials have been asked to investigate the reasons behind power cuts if the supply is interrupted for more than 5 minutes anywhere in the state. Action should be taken against anyone who deliberately caused the power cuts, except for technical and natural reasons.
The government has taken all measures to provide an adequate power supply to meet the growing energy demand in the state. An action plan has already been prepared to supply power during the peak season of February, March and April when the electricity demand is high. 264.95 million units of electricity were supplied per day from February 1st and 13th this year. Last year, the power supply during the same period was only 242.44 million units. In January last year, 230.54 million units of power was supplied. This year, it was more than 243.12 million units in January.

రాష్ట్రంలో ఎక్కడైనా అకారణంగా విద్యుత్ స‌ర‌ఫ‌రాకు అంతరాయం కలిగితే బాధ్యులైన అధికారులు, సిబ్బందిపై కఠిన చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి హెచ్చరించారు. ఇప్పుడున్న అవసరాలకు సరిపడేంత విద్యుత్తును ప్రభుత్వం సరఫరా చేస్తోందని, ప్రభుత్వం తరఫున ఎక్కడా విద్యుత్తు కోతలను విధించటం లేదని సీఎం స్పష్టం చేశారు. గతంతో పోలిస్తే రాష్ట్రంలో విద్యుత్తు సరఫరా పెరిగిందని చెప్పారు. ఇటీవల పలు చోట్ల విద్యుత్తు సరఫరా నిలిపేసిన సంఘటనలపై ముఖ్యమంత్రి విద్యుత్తు శాఖ అధికారులపై తీవ్ర ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. కొందరు అధికారులు, సిబ్బంది నిర్లక్ష్యంగా వ్యవహరిస్తున్నారంటూ మండిపడ్డారు.
ప్రభుత్వానికి చెడ్డపేరు తెచ్చేందుకు, విద్యుత్తుపై దుష్ప్రచారం చేసేందుకు కొందరు కుట్రలు చేస్తున్నట్లు తమ దృష్టికి వచ్చిందని అన్నారు. అటువంటి అధికారులు, సిబ్బందిపై కఠిన చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామని సీఎం హెచ్చరించారు. గతంతో పోల్చితే విద్యుత్ సరఫరా పెంచినప్పటికీ, కోత‌లు పెడుతున్నారంటూ జరుగుతున్న దుష్ప్ర‌చారాన్ని తిప్పి కొట్టాల్సిన బాధ్యత మీదేనని విద్యుత్తు శాఖ అధికారులను ముఖ్యమంత్రి అప్రమత్తం చేశారు.
స‌చివాల‌యంలో గృహ‌జ్యోతి, రూ.500కే సిలిండ‌ర్ పథకాలపై స‌మీక్ష‌కు ముందు ముఖ్యమంత్రి విద్యుత్ కోత‌ల‌పై సాగుతున్న ప్ర‌చారంపై అధికారులను ప్ర‌శ్నించారు. గ‌తేడాదితో పోల్చితే గత రెండు నెల‌ల్లో విద్యుత్ సరఫరా ఎక్కువగా చేసినట్లు ట్రాన్స్ కో, జెన్ కో సీఎండీ రిజ్వీ సమాధానమిచ్చారు. ఇటీవల రాష్ట్రంలో మూడు సబ్ స్టేషన్ల ప‌రిధిలో కొంత సేపు విద్యుత్ స‌ర‌ఫ‌రాకు అంతరాయం క‌లిగింద‌ని తెలిపారు. దానికి కార‌ణాలు ఏమిట‌ని ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ప్ర‌శ్నించారు. సబ్ స్టేషన్లలో లోడ్ హెచ్చుతగ్గులను డీఈలు స‌రి చూసుకుంటూ ఉండాల‌ని, అలా చూసుకోక‌పోవ‌డంతో స‌మ‌స్య త‌లెత్తింద‌ని అధికారులు తెలియ‌జేశారు.
అలా నిర్లక్ష్యంగా, అజాగ్ర‌త్త‌గా వ్య‌వ‌హ‌రించే అధికారులు, సిబ్బందిపై కఠిన చర్యలు తీసుకోవాల‌ని ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఆదేశించారు. ఏవైనా మ‌ర‌మ్మ‌తులు, ఇత‌ర అంశాల‌కు సరఫరా నిలిపివేయాల్సి వ‌స్తే ముందుగానే ఆయా సబ్ స్టేషన్ల ప‌రిధిలోని వినియోగ‌దారుల‌కు స‌మాచారం ఇవ్వాల‌ని సూచించారు. గత ప్ర‌భుత్వ హ‌యాంలో నియ‌మితులైన కొందరు క్షేత్ర‌స్థాయి సిబ్బంది అత్యుత్సాహంతో ప్రభుత్వానికి చెడ్డపేరు తెచ్చేందుకు ఉద్దేశ్య‌పూర్వ‌కంగా కోత‌లు పెడుతున్నార‌నే స‌మ‌చారం తమకు ఉందని సీఎం హెచ్చరించారు. ఎక్కడైనా అయిదు నిమిషాల‌కు మించి విద్యుత్ సరఫరా నిలిచిపోతే అందుకు గ‌ల కార‌ణాల‌పై వెంట‌నే స‌మీక్షించుకోవాలని చెప్పారు. సాంకేతిక, ప్ర‌కృతిప‌ర‌మైన కార‌ణాలు మిన‌హా ఉద్దేశ‌పూర్వ‌కంగా ఎవ‌రైనా కోత‌ల‌కు కార‌ణ‌మైతే వారిపై చర్యలు తీసుకోవాల‌ని ఆదేశించారు.
రాష్ట్రంలో డిమాండ్ కు అనుగుణంగా సరిపడేంత విద్యుత్తును అందించేందుకు ప్రభుత్వం అన్ని చర్యలు చేపట్టింది. విద్యుత్తు అవసరం ఎక్కువగా ఉండే ఫిబ్రవరి, మార్చి, ఏప్రిల్ మాసాల్లో పీక్ సీజన్ కు సరిపడేంత విద్యుత్తును అందించే కార్యాచరణను ఇప్పటికే సిద్ధం చేసుకుంది. ఫిబ్రవరిలో ఒకటో తేదీ నుంచి 13వ తేదీ వరకు రోజుకు 264.95 మిలియన్ యూనిట్ల విద్యుత్తు సరఫరా అయింది. గత ఏడాది అదే వ్యవధిలో 242.44 మిలియన్ యూనిట్లు మాత్రమే సరఫరా జరిగింది. నిరుడు జనవరిలో 230.54 మిలియన్ యూనిట్లు సరఫరా కాగా, ఈ ఏడాది జనవరిలో అంతకంటే ఎక్కువగా 243.12 మిలియన్ యూనిట్లు సరఫరా అయింది.
