Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A Revanth Reddy directed all the revenue generating departments to achieve the annual target set in the tax collections.
CM Sri Revanth Reddy held a review of the tax collections by the Commercial Taxes, Excise, Registrations, Transport, Mines and Mineral departments for the year 2023-24 at the Dr. BR Ambedkar Secretariat today ( Monday). The Chief Minister questioned the big gap between the targets set by the government and revenue generation from the Commercial Taxes Department. Officials informed the CM that, till last year, the Union Government had not paid more than Rs.4,000 crore under the GST compensation. A gap in revenues is clearly visible due to non-receipt of those funds from the Centre even after the deadline ends.
The CM ordered to stop the supply of Non-Duty Paid Liquor ( NDPL) in Telangana from neighboring states. CM Revanth suggested to the officials to take stringent action following the reports of variations in the computation between the supply and sale of liquor. State Excise and Prohibition officials have been asked to install CCTV cameras at every distillery and the liquor delivery vehicles should be equipped with GPS for tracking them. The bottle tracking system and waybills for the liquor supply vehicles should also be maintained accurately. The CM directed the officials to submit a report on the progress of several cases registered in the past along with non-duty paid liquor.
While reviewing the performance of the state Stamps and Registration department, officials informed the CM that the offices of the Sub-Registrar and the District Registration offices are functioning in the hired buildings. Commissioner of Commercial Taxes Department Dr. TK Sridevi also brought to the notice of the Chief Minister that the same situation prevailed in her department. The Chief Minister felt it is not good for the revenue-generating departments to not have their own buildings. The CM directed the officials to prepare proposals for the construction of new buildings for the present requirements.
The CM suggested to the officials to utilize the vacant government buildings in Hyderabad and district headquarters as per the requirements. The CM also asked the officials to find suitable government lands for Gravel selling points in Hyderabad in the wake of growing sale counters at many places in the city.
CM Revanth ordered the officials to formulate a comprehensive Sand Policy for sales. Along with Way Bills, the chief minister suggested that there should be tracking of sand transport vehicles and curb illegal transportation. The Chief Minister reminded that fines have been imposed on many Mines in the past and cases have been registered for violating the rules. The officials have been asked to collect the fine amount immediately. The Chief Minister also instructed the officials to submit a report on the reasons for reducing the fine amount in some cases.
The Chief Minister is serious that many officials in the TSMDC and the Mines Department have been languishing in the same post for years and some of them are facing allegations. The CM ordered the transfer of the long-serving officials to the same post and place immediately.

వాణిజ్య ప‌న్నుల శాఖ‌లో ప‌న్ను ల‌క్ష్యానికి, రాబ‌డికి మ‌ధ్య వ్య‌త్యాసం ఎక్కువ‌గా ఎందుకు ఉంద‌ని ముఖ్య‌మంత్రి ప్ర‌శ్నించారు. కేంద్ర ప్ర‌భుత్వం గ‌తేడాది వ‌ర‌కు జీఎస్టీ ప‌రిహారం కింద రూ.4 వేల కోట్ల‌కుపైగా చెల్లించేద‌ని, దాని గ‌డువు ముగియ‌డంతో ఆ నిధులు రాక‌పోవ‌డంతో రాబ‌డిలో వ్య‌త్యాసం క‌నిపిస్తోంద‌ని అధికారులు తెలిపారు. పొరుగు రాష్ట్రాల నుంచి నాన్ డ్యూటీ పెయిడ్ లిక్క‌ర్ రాష్ట్రంలోకి రాకుండా అడ్డుకోవాల‌ని ముఖ్య‌మంత్రి ఆదేశించారు. మ‌ద్యం స‌ర‌ఫ‌రా, విక్ర‌యాల‌కు సంబంధించిన లెక్క‌లు తేడాలు ఉంటున్నాయ‌ని, ఈ విష‌యంలో క‌ఠినంగా వ్య‌వ‌హ‌రించాల‌ని ఆయ‌న సూచించారు. ప్ర‌తి డిస్ట‌ల‌రీ వ‌ద్ద సీసీ కెమెరాలు ఏర్పాటు చేయాల‌న్నారు. మ‌ద్యం స‌ర‌ఫ‌రా వాహ‌నాల‌కు జీపీఎస్ అమ‌ర్చి వాటిని ట్రాకింగ్ చేయాల‌ని, బాటిల్ ట్రాకింగ్ సిస్టం ఉండాల‌ని, మ‌ద్యం స‌ర‌ఫ‌రా వాహ‌నాలు వే బిల్లులు క‌చ్చితంగా ఉండాల‌ని ముఖ్య‌మంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ఆదేశించారు. నాన్‌డ్యూటీ పెయిడ్ లిక్క‌ర్‌తో పాటు గ‌తంలో న‌మోదు చేసిన ప‌లు కేసుల పురోగ‌తిపై నివేదిక స‌మ‌ర్పించాల‌ని సీఎం అధికారుల‌ను ఆదేశించారు.
రిజిస్ట్రేష‌న్ల శాఖ‌పై స‌మీక్ష సంద‌ర్భంలో స‌బ్ రిజిస్ట్రార్ కార్యాల‌యాలు, జిల్లా రిజిస్ట్రేష‌న్ కార్యాల‌యాలు అద్దె భ‌వ‌నాల్లో కొన‌సాగుతున్నాయని అధికారులు తెలిపారు. అదే స‌మ‌యంలో త‌మ శాఖలోనూ అదే ప‌రిస్థితి నెల‌కొంద‌ని వాణిజ్య ప‌న్నుల శాఖ క‌మిష‌న‌ర్ డాక్ట‌ర్ టి.కె. శ్రీ‌దేవి ముఖ్య‌మంత్రి దృష్టికి తీసుకెళ్లారు. స్పందించిన ముఖ్య‌మంత్రి ఆదాయాన్ని తెచ్చే శాఖల‌కు సొంత భ‌వ‌నాలు లేక‌పోవ‌డం స‌రికాద‌ని, ప్రస్తుత అవ‌స‌రాల‌కు అనుగుణంగా నూత‌న భ‌వ‌నాలు నిర్మించేందుకు ప్ర‌తిపాద‌న‌లు సిద్ధం చేయాల‌ని అధికారుల‌ను ఆదేశించారు. అవ‌స‌రాల‌కు అనుగుణంగా హైద‌రాబాద్‌తో పాటు జిల్లా కేంద్రాల్లో ఖాళీగా ఉన్న ప్ర‌భుత్వ భ‌వ‌నాల‌ను వినియోగించుకోవాల‌ని సూచించారు. హైద‌రాబాద్‌తో పాటు న‌గ‌రంలో ప‌లు ప్రాంతాల్లో ర‌హ‌దారుల‌పై కంక‌ర కుప్పలుగా పోసి విక్ర‌యిస్తున్నార‌ని, అలా కాకుండా న‌గ‌రంలో వివిధ ప్ర‌దేశాల్లో ప్ర‌భుత్వ స్థ‌లాలను అందుకు వినియోగించాల‌ని పేర్కొన్నారు.
ఇసుక విక్ర‌యాల‌పై స‌మ‌గ్ర విధానం రూపొందించాల‌ని ముఖ్య‌మంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ఆదేశించారు. వే బిల్లుల‌తో పాటు ఇసుక స‌ర‌ఫ‌రా వాహ‌నాల‌కు ట్రాకింగ్ ఉండాల‌ని, అక్రమ ర‌వాణాకు అవ‌కాశం ఇవ్వ‌వ‌ద్ద‌ని ముఖ్య‌మంత్రి సూచించారు. నిబంధ‌న‌లు ఉల్లంఘించినందుకుగానూ ప‌లు గ‌నుల‌పై గ‌తంలో జ‌రిమానాలు విధించార‌ని, కేసులు న‌మోదు చేశార‌ని ముఖ్య‌మంత్రి గుర్తు చేశారు. విధించిన జ‌రిమానాల‌ను వెంట‌నే వ‌సూలు చేయాల‌ని ఆదేశించారు. గ‌తంలో జ‌రిమానాలు విధించి త‌ర్వాత వాటిని త‌గ్గించార‌ని, అందుకు కార‌ణాలు ఏమిటో తెలియ‌జేయాల‌ని, దానిపై నివేదిక స‌మ‌ర్పించాల‌ని అధికారుల‌కు ముఖ్య‌మంత్రి సూచించారు. టీఎస్ ఎండీసీతో పాటు గ‌నుల శాఖ‌లో ప‌లువురు అధికారులు ఒకే పోస్టులో ఏళ్ల త‌ర‌బ‌డి తిష్ట వేశార‌ని, కొంద‌రిపై ఆరోప‌ణ‌లున్నాయ‌ని, వారిని వెంట‌నే బ‌దిలీ చేయాల‌ని ముఖ్య‌మంత్రి ఆదేశించారు.
