CM Sri Revanth Reddy meets Union Home Minister Sri Amit Shah
Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy appealed to Union Home Minister Sri Amit Shah to allocate additional IPS officers to Telangana state. The Chief Minister told Amit Shah only 76 IPS officers were allotted to Telangana during the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. The CM requested the Home Minister to sanction 29 additional IPS posts to the state in view of creation of new districts and supervision of various departments. The Union Minister responded positively to CM Revanth Reddy’s request. Amit Shah assured the allocation of additional IPS officers to Telangana from 2024 new batch of IPS officers. The Chief Minister met the Union Home Minister on Thursday at the North Block office in New Delhi for the first time after assuming the CM office.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister brought many pending state issues to the notice of Amit Shah. CM Revanth requested the union minister to solve the long pending division of assets under ninth schedule of the reorganization act, settle the disputes on pending organizations between the two states and complete the bifurcation of State Bhavan in New Delhi in a smooth manner. The CM also requested the Union minister to focus on claiming the ownership of institutions ,which were not mentioned in the bifurcation act, by Andhra Pradesh. The Chief Minister also appealed to the union Home Minister to allocate Rs.88 crore for strengthening the Anti-Narcotics Bureau in Telangana and Rs.90 crore additionally to consolidate Telangana Cyber Security Bureau. The Chief Minister requested Amit Shah to collect a total of Rs.408 crore from Andhra Pradesh for using the buildings like Raj Bhavan, High Court Building, Lokayukta and SHRC in Hyderabad even after the bifurcation of the state and pay to Telangana.
CM requests union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Sri Hardeep Singh to give approval to Hyderabad Metro Rail Phase -2 proposals
The Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy appealed to Union Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Puri to approve the revised proposals for the second phase of Hyderabad Metro Rail. The CM met the Union Minister on Thursday evening and brought to his notice the slew of state related issues. The CM said that the Hyderabad Metro Second Phase (BHEL-Lakdikapul, Nagole-LB Nagar, 26 km, Rs 9,100 crore) and (Airport Metro Corridor-Rayadurg – Shamshabad airport – 32 km with Rs 6250 crore) needs to be realigned. According to the revised proposals, the Chief Minister requested the Union Minister to consider the matter of taking up this project jointly by the Central and State Governments.
The CM also told the Union Minister that the state government decided to develop the Musi Riverfront in Hyderabad by establishing amusement parks, waterfalls, children’s water sports, business center and shopping complexes. The Chief Minister pleaded with the Union Urban Affairs Minister to extend necessary support to the state Government in this regard. CM Revanth said that the state government decided to build Indiramma houses for the poor in the state and requested the Union Minister to give permission to provide them under the Prime Minister’s Awas Yojana. The CM also appealed to the Minister to release the balance funds to be given along with sanctioning new houses to Telangana.
CM meets Jal Shakti Minister, requesting for national project status to Palamuru-Ranga Reddy lift scheme
CM Sri Revanth Reddy appealed to Jal Shakti Minister Sri Gajendra Singh Shekawat to give national project status to the Palamuru-Ranga Reddy lift irrigation project. The Chief Minister and State Irrigation Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy met Shekawat today evening. The Chief Minister explained the importance of the Palamuru-Ranga Reddy project to the Union Minister. The CM said that that 12.30 lakh acres in the districts of Nagarkurnool, Mahabubnagar, Vikarabad, Narayanapet, Rangareddy and Nalgonda, which are suffering from drought and fluoride, will get irrigation facility from Palamuru-Rangareddy lift project. Drinking water will also be supplied to 1226 villages in six districts as well as Hyderabad city. The CM said that many permissions have already been given to the project waiting for the clearance of hydrology, irrigation planning, estimated cost, BC ratio and inter-state issues from the Central Water Commission for the project. The CM requested the union minister to give the approval immediately. In view of the priority of the project, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Uttam Kumar Reddy requested the minister to give national project status to the Palamuru project.

Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy said that the union Minister responded positively to the allocation of additional funds for the Palamuru-Rangareddy project . After meeting the Union Minister, Uttam kumar spoke to the media in the presence of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. They requsted the minister to give national project status to palamuru project. They brought to the notice of the union minister that the centre did not give national project status to any project since 2014. In view of the priority of the Palamuru project, Uttam kumar Reddy said that the union minister assured to allocate 60 percent funds for the project under another scheme.
Uttamkumar Reddy said TSPSC completely failed to conduct exams during the BRS regime and the chief minister decided to reform the entire public service commission. He said that the Chief Minister and himself will meet the UPSC Chairman on Friday and seek the support to strengthen the TSPSC.

న్యూ ఢిల్లీలో కేంద్ర మంత్రులను కలిసిన సీఎం
తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రానికి అదనపు ఆఫీసర్లను కేటాయించాలని గౌరవ ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి కేంద్ర హోమ్ మంత్రి శ్రీ అమిత్ షాకు విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. ఆంద్రప్రదేశ్ విభజన సందర్భంలో తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రానికి కేవలం 76 మంది IPS ఆఫీసర్లను కేటాయించారని ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి అమిత్ షాతో చెప్పారు. కొత్త జిల్లాల ఏర్పాటు, వివిధ శాఖల పర్యవేక్షణ అవసరాల దృష్ట్యా 29 అదనపు IPS పోస్టులను రాష్ట్రానికి కేటాయించాల్సిందిగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి కేంద్ర హోమ్ మంత్రిని అభ్యర్థించారు. ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి చేసిన విజ్ఞప్తికి కేంద్ర మంత్రి సానుకూలంగా స్పందించారు. 2024 కొత్త బ్యాచ్ IPS ఆఫీసర్ల నుండి తెలంగాణకు అదనపు IPS ఆఫీసర్ల కేటాయింపు జరుగుతుందని అమిత్ షా హామీ ఇచ్చారు. సీఎంగా బాధ్యతలు చేపట్టిన తర్వాత ముఖ్యమంత్రి గురువారం న్యూ ఢిల్లీలోని నార్త్ బ్లాక్లో మొదటిసారి కేంద్ర హోమ్ మంత్రిని కలిశారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా అపరిష్కృతంగా ఉన్న అనేక రాష్ట్ర సమస్యలను ముఖ్యమంత్రి అమిత్ షా దృష్టికి తీసుకువచ్చారు. పునర్వ్యవస్థీకరణ చట్టంలోని 9వ షెడ్యూల్ ప్రకారం సుదీర్ఘ కాలంగా అపరిష్కృతంగా ఉన్న ఆస్తుల పంపకాలను పరిష్కరించాలని, రెండు రాష్ట్రాల మధ్య పెండింగ్ సంస్థల వివాదాలను పరిష్కరించాలని, న్యూ ఢిల్లీలోని రాష్ట్ర భవన్ విభజనను సజావుగా పూర్తి చేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి కేంద్ర మంత్రికి విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. విభజన చట్టంలో ప్రస్తావించని హక్కుదారుగా ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ వ్యవహరిస్తున్న తీరుపై దృష్టి పెట్టాలని కూడా ముఖ్యమంత్రి కేంద్ర హోమ్ మంత్రిని అభ్యర్థించారు. తెలంగాణ లోని యాంటీ- నార్కోటిక్ బ్యూరోను పటిష్టం చేయడానికి 88 కోట్లు, తెలంగాణ సైబర్ సెక్యూరిటీ బ్యూరోను బలోపేతం చేయడానికి మరో 90 కోట్ల రూపాయలు కేటాయించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి కేంద్ర హోమ్ మంత్రికి విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు.
విభజన అనంతరం కూడా హైదరాబాద్లోని రాజ్ భవన్, హైకోర్టు భవనం, లోకాయుక్త మరియు SHRC మొదలైన భవనాలను ఉపయోగించుకుంటున్నందుకు ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ప్రభుత్వం నుండి మొత్తంగా 408 కోట్ల రూపాయలు వసూలు చేసి, తెలంగాణా ప్రభుత్వానికి చెల్లించాలని అమిత్ షాను ముఖ్యమంత్రి అభ్యర్థించారు.

హైదరాబాద్ మెట్రో రైల్ రెండో దశకు సంబంధించి సవరించిన ప్రతిపాదనలకు ఆమోదం తెలపాల్సిందిగా రాష్ట్ర ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి కేంద్ర పట్టణాభివృద్ధి శాఖా మంత్రి హర్దీప్ సింగ్ పూరికి విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. గురువారం సాయంత్రం కేంద్ర మంత్రిని కలిసిన ముఖ్యమంత్రి రాష్ట్రానికి సంబంధించిన పలు సమస్యలను ఆయన దృష్టికి తీసుకొచ్చారు. హైదరాబాద్ మెట్రో రైల్ రెండవ దశ (BHEL- లక్డీకాపూల్, నాగోల్- ఎల్బీ నగర్, 26 కి.మీ., రూ. 9,100 కోట్లు మరియు ఎయిర్పోర్ట్ మెట్రో కారిడార్- రాయదుర్గ్- శంషాబాద్ ఎయిర్పోర్ట్- 32 కి.మీ., రూ. 6250 కోట్లు) అలైన్మెంట్లో మార్పులు చేయాల్సిఉందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి చెప్పారు. సవరించిన ప్రతిపాదనల మేరకు ఈ ప్రాజెక్టును కేంద్ర, రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వాలు సంయుక్తంగా చేపట్టే అంశాన్ని పరిశీలించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి కేంద్ర మంత్రికి విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు.
అమ్యూజ్మెంట్ పార్కులు, వాటర్ ఫాల్స్, పిల్లల వాటర్ స్పోర్ట్స్, బిజినెస్ సెంటర్ మరియు షాపింగ్ కాంప్లెక్సుల స్థాపన ద్వారా మూసీ రివర్ ఫ్రంట్ను అభివృద్ధి చేయడానికి రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం నిర్ణయించిందని కూడా ముఖ్యమంత్రి కేంద్ర మంత్రికి చెప్పారు. ఈ విషయంలో రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వానికి అవసరమైన మద్దతు అందించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి కేంద్ర పట్టణ వ్యవహారాల మంత్రికి విన్నవించారు. రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం పేదలకు ఇందిరమ్మ ఇండ్లు నిర్మించి ఇవ్వాలని నిర్ణయించిందని, వాటిని ప్రధానమంత్రి ఆవాస్ యోజన కింద అందించడానికి అనుమతులు ఇవ్వాలని శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి కేంద్ర మంత్రిని అభ్యర్థించారు. తెలంగాణకు కొత్త ఇండ్ల మంజూరుతో పాటే బకాయి ఉన్న నిధులను విడుదల చేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి కేంద్ర మంత్రికి విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు.

పాలమూరు- రంగారెడ్డి లిఫ్ట్ ఇరిగేషన్ ప్రాజెక్టుకు జాతీయ హోదా కల్పించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి జల్ శక్తి మంత్రి శ్రీ గజేంద్ర షెకావత్కు విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. ముఖ్యమంత్రి మరియు రాష్ట్ర నీటిపారుదల శాఖా మంత్రి శ్రీ N. ఉత్తమ్ కుమార్ రెడ్డి ఈరోజు సాయంత్రం షెకావత్ను కలిశారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా పాలమూరు- రంగారెడ్డి ప్రాజెక్ట్ ప్రాముఖ్యతను ముఖ్యమంత్రి కేంద్ర మంత్రికి వివరించారు. కరువు మరియు ఫ్లోరైడ్ సమస్యలతో సతమతమవుతున్న నాగర్ కర్నూల్, మహబూబ్ నగర్, వికారాబాద్, నారాయణ్ పేట్, రంగారెడ్డి మరియు నల్గొండ జిల్లాలలోని 12. 30 లక్షల ఎకరాలకు పాలమూరు- రంగారెడ్డి లిఫ్ట్ ప్రాజెక్టుతో నీటిపారుదల సౌకర్యం అందుతుందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి చెప్పారు. హైదరాబాద్తో పాటు ఆరు జిల్లాలలోని 1226 గ్రామాలకు తాగునీరు సరఫరా చేయబడుతుంది. ఇప్పటికే చాలా అనుమతులను పొందిన ప్రాజెక్ట్ హైడ్రాలజీ క్లియరెన్స్ , నీటిపారుదల ప్రణాళిక, అంచనా వ్యయం, బీసీ రేషియో మరియు అంతర్ రాష్ట్ర వివాదాలు మొదలైన అంశాలపై కేంద్ర జలసంఘం అనుమతుల కోసం ఎదురుచూస్తోందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి అన్నారు. తక్షణం వాటిపై ఆమోదముద్ర వేయాల్సిందిగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి కేంద్ర మంత్రిని అభ్యర్థించారు.

పాలమూరు- రంగారెడ్డి ప్రాజెక్టుకు అదనపు నిధుల కేటాయింపుపై కేంద్ర మంత్రి సానుకూలంగా స్పందించారని నీటిపారుదల శాఖా మంత్రి శ్రీ ఉత్తమ్ కుమార్ రెడ్డి అన్నారు. కేంద్ర మంత్రిని కలిసిన అనంతరం రాష్ట్ర ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ రేవంత్ రెడ్డి సమక్షంలో నీటిపారుదల శాఖా మంత్రి ఉత్తమ్ కుమార్ రెడ్డి మీడియాతో మాట్లాడారు. పాలమూరు- రంగారెడ్డి ప్రాజెక్టుకు జాతీయ హోదా ఇవ్వవలసిందిగా వారు కేంద్ర మంత్రిని అభ్యర్థించారు. 2014 నుండి ఇప్పటివరకూ కేంద్రం ఏ ఒక్క ప్రాజెక్టుకూ జాతీయ హోదా ఇవ్వలేదని వారు కేంద్రం దృష్టికి తీసుకువచ్చారు. పాలమూరు ప్రాజెక్టుకు ఉన్న ప్రాధాన్యత దృష్ట్యా మరొక స్కీమ్ కింద ప్రాజెక్టుకు 60 శాతం నిధుల కేటాయింపుకు కేంద్ర మంత్రి హామీ ఇచ్చారని ఉత్తమ్ కుమార్ రెడ్డి అన్నారు.
BRS పాలనలో పరీక్షల నిర్వహణకు సంబంధించి TSPSC ఘోర వైఫల్యం చెందిందనీ, అందువల్ల పబ్లిక్ సర్వీస్ కమీషన్ మొత్తాన్ని సంస్కరించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నారనీ ఉత్తమ్ కుమార్ రెడ్డి అన్నారు. తానూ, ముఖ్యమంత్రి శుక్రవారం UPSC చైర్మెన్ను కలుస్తామనీ, TSPSCని బలోపేతం చేయడానికి సాయం కోరుతామనీ అన్నారు.
