Arjuna Awardees and Asian Games 2023 medallists and participants called on Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri Revanth Reddy on Wednesday at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat. The Chief Minister took the time to meet each sportsperson and discuss their accomplishments and future tournaments. The CM felicitated the award and medal winners with shawls and presented bouquets in recognition of their achievements.
The Hon’ble Chief Minister instructed concerned officials to compile a comprehensive list of issues and challenges each sportsperson faces. The CM emphasized the need to devise effective solutions, considering avenues such as financial assistance, job opportunities and any other support that aligns with the eligibility criteria, aiming to foster sports development in Telangana. The sports persons, in turn, proudly showcased their medals and awards, expressing their happiness and gratitude to the Hon’ble Chief Minister for his support and encouragement.
The Sports persons who met today include recently awarded Arjuna Awardees 2023 Mr.Husamuddin (Boxing and Common Wealth Games Bronze Medallist) and Ms. Esha Singh (Shooting also Asian Games 2023 Gold Medallist). Other Medal winners and participants of Asian Games 2023 include Nikhat Zareen (Bronze Medal in Boxing), Kynan Chenai Darius (Gold Medallist in Shooting), Ms. Agasara Nandini (Bronze Medallist in Athletics), Sikki Reddy (Badminton – Participation) and P. Gayatri Gopichand (Badminton – Participation). Ms. Jeevanji Deepthi, Para Athlete, and Gold Medallist in the Para Games also met the Hon’ble Chief Minister.
మన రాష్ట్రానికి చెందిన అర్జున అవార్డు గ్రహీతలు, ఆసియా క్రీడల్లో పతకాలు సాధించిన విజేతలు బుధవారం సచివాలయంలో సీఎం శ్రీ ఏ. రేవంత్ రెడ్డిని కలుసుకున్నారు. ముఖ్యమంత్రి ప్రతి క్రీడాకారుడిని పలకరించి వారి విజయాలు, భవిష్యత్తు టోర్నీలను అడిగి తెలుసుకున్నారు. విజేతలందరినీ సీఎం శాలువాలతో సత్కరించి, వారి విజయాలకు గుర్తుగా పుష్పగుచ్ఛాలు అందించి అభినందించారు.
ప్రతి క్రీడాకారుడు ఎదుర్కొంటున్న సమస్యలను తెలుసుకొని, జాబితాను రూపొందించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి సంబంధిత అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. తెలంగాణలో క్రీడల అభివృద్ధికి తమ ప్రభుత్వం తగినంత ప్రోత్సహం అందిస్తుందని అన్నారు. అర్హతలకు అనుగుణంగా ఆర్థిక సాయం, ఉద్యోగావకాశాలు కల్పించి క్రీడాకారులను ప్రోత్సహించాల్సిన ఆవశ్యకత ఉన్నదని సీఎం అన్నారు.
