Release ‘Rythu Bandhu’ funds from 11th December: CM

The Chief Minister released orders to initiate the depositing process of the ‘Raitubandhu’ funds in Telangana’s farmers’ accounts starting today. The chief minister extensively discussed the performance of the agriculture department in the Dr. BR Ambedkar state secretariat. The discussion also touched upon the implementation of farmer welfare programs in Telangana. On the occasion, CM Shri Revanth Reddy made it clear that the farmers should start depositing ‘Rythu Bandhu’ funds in their accounts from today. He said crop investment assistance should be provided so that no farmer gets inconvenienced. 

Action plan on the loan waiver 

As per the promise given by his government, the CM issued orders to prepare an appropriate action plan to waive off the loans of Rs.2 lakh to the farmers of the state. 

Praja Vani every Tuesday and Friday 

Additionally, the Chief Minister ordered that the Praja Durbar, currently being held at ‘Jyotirao Phule Praja Bhavan’, be renamed ‘Prajavani’. It has been announced that this ‘Prajavani’ will be held every Tuesday and Friday from 10 am to 1 pm. The citizens who reach the Jyoti Rao Phule Prajavani before 10 am will be awarded an opportunity to submit their applications. The Chief Minister also ordered to ensure separate queues for people with disabilities and women. Along with these, facilities like drinking water will be provided for the people. 

State Agriculture, Marketing, Cooperation Minister Sri Tummala Nageswara Rao, IT and Industries Minister Sri D. Sridhar Babu, Revenue, Housing and Information & Public Relations Minister Sri  P. Srinivasa Reddy, Chief Secretary Smt. Santhi Kumari, Special Chief Secretary (Finance) Sri Ramakrishna Rao, CMO Secretary Sri Seshadri, Secretary, Agriculture Dept. Sri Raghunandan Rao and other officials participated in the review.
