Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Sri Bhatti Vikramarka requested Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi to grant national status to the Palamuru Rangareddy lift irrigation project. The CM and Deputy CM told the PM that the Reorganization act mentioned national project status will be given to one each project in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Polavaram project has been given national project status in Andhra Pradesh. They requested PM Modi to grant national project status to Palamuru lift scheme as well.
After the formation of the new government in Telangana, the Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister paid a courtesy call to Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi at his residence in Delhi today. On this occasion, CM Sri Revanth and Deputy CM Sri Bhatti brought many problems related to the state to the attention of the Prime Minister. As per the Reorganization act, the Center has released Rs.2,250 crores at the rate of Rs.450 crores every year from 2015 to 2021. They requested the PM to release Rs.1,800 crore pending grants for the years 2019-20, 2021-2022, 2022-2023 and 2023- 2024 financial years. They also appealed to the PM to release the pending 15th Finance Commission funds of Rs.2,233.54 crore (Rs.129.69 crores for 2022-23 and Rs.1,608.85 crores for 2023-24) immediately.
Other Issues brought to the notice of Prime Minister:
• Already sent proposals to upgrade 14 national highways in Telangana. Only two of them are approved. Requested to approve the up-gradation of remaining 12 national highways.
• The Center approved the establishment of a Tribal University in Mulugu. Admissions should be allowed in the academic year 2023-24.
• As per the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization act, the Centre made the promise of the establishment of a Steel Plant (Bayyaram Steel Plant) in the erstwhile Khammam district. Requested the PM for the clearance of the project immediately. Indian Railways announced a coach factory in Kazipet, but the centre declared the establishment of a periodic overhauling workshop. The CM and Deputy CM urged Modi to fulfill the promise of construction of a Coach factory.
• The Union Government announced ITIR for Bangalore and Hyderabad in 2010. The Hyderabad ITIR project was put in cold storage after the change of government at the center in 2014. The PM is requested to take up Hyderabad ITIR immediately.
• Announce Kakatiya Mega Textile Park as a Green field project and release enough funds. Among the seven mega textile parks identified under PM Mitra, the Kakatiya textile park in Warangal has been declared as a brown field park which did not deserve adequate funds.
• Centre proposed to set up an IIM in every state. As there is no IIM in Telangana, The union government should establish one IIM in Hyderabad. Suitable space is already available. The state government is ready to provide necessary space for setting up an IIM if the center wants.
• Two Sainik schools were sanctioned to Andhra Pradesh after the bifurcation of the state. One sainik school should be established in Secunderabad Cantonment.
• Requested to shift head office in Pune to Secunderabad cantonment as there is not a single head office of Indian Army in Southern states.
• Resolve the pending division of government establishments under schedule nine and the issues of other organizations under 10th schedule as per the AP Reorganization act.

పాలమూరు- రంగారెడ్డి లిఫ్ట్ ఇరిగేషన్ ప్రాజెక్టుకు జాతీయ హోదా కల్పించాలని గౌరవ ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ ఎ. రేవంత్ రెడ్డి, ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ భట్టి విక్రమార్క ప్రధానమంత్రి శ్రీ నరేంద్ర మోదీని కోరారు. ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్, తెలంగాణ లోని ఒక్కో ప్రాజెక్టుకు జాతీయ హోదా కల్పిస్తామని పునర్వ్యవస్థీకరణ చట్టంలో పొందుపరిచారని సీఎం, డిప్యుటీ సీఎం ప్రధానికి తెలిపారు. ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ లోని పోలవరం ప్రాజెక్టుకు జాతీయ ప్రాజెక్ట్ హోదా కల్పించారు. అదే విధంగా తెలంగాణ లోని పాలమూరు ఎత్తిపోతల పథకానికి కూడా జాతీయ హోదా కల్పించాలని ప్రధాని మోదీని కోరారు.
తెలంగాణలో కొత్త ప్రభుత్వం ఏర్పాటైన తర్వాత ముఖ్యమంత్రి, ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఈరోజు ప్రధాని శ్రీ నరేంద్ర మోదీని ఆయన నివాసంలో మర్యాదపూర్వకంగా కలిశారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా సీఎం శ్రీ రేవంత్, డిప్యుటీ సీఎం శ్రీ భట్టి రాష్ట్రానికి సంబంధించిన పలు సమస్యలను ప్రధాని దృష్టికి తీసుకెళ్లారు. పునర్వ్యవస్థీకరణ చట్టం ప్రకారం 2015 నుంచి 2021 వరకు కేంద్రం ప్రతి సంవత్సరం రూ. 450 కోట్ల చొప్పున రూ. 2, 250 కోట్లు విడుదల చేసింది. 2019- 20, 2021- 22, 2022- 23 మరియు 2023- 24 ఆర్ధిక సంవత్సరాలకు సంబంధించి పెండింగ్‌లో ఉన్న రూ. 1800 కోట్ల గ్రాంట్‌లను విడుదల చేయాలని వారు ప్రధాన మంత్రిని అభ్యర్థించారు. పెండింగ్‌లో ఉన్న రూ. 2, 233. 54 కోట్ల 15 వ ఆర్ధిక సంఘం నిధులను వెంటనే విడుదల చేయాలని వారు ప్రధాన మంత్రికి విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు.
ప్రధాన మంత్రి దృష్టికి తీసుకెళ్లిన ఇతర అంశాలు:
- తెలంగాణ లోని 14 జాతీయ రహదారులను అప్‌గ్రేడ్ చేయడానికి ఇప్పటికే ప్రతిపాదనలు పంపగా, అందులో రెండు మాత్రమే ఆమోదించబడ్డాయి. మిగిలిన 12 జాతీయ రహదారుల అప్‌గ్రెడేషన్‌కు ఆమోదం తెలపాలని కోరారు.
- ములుగులో గిరిజన విశ్వవిద్యాలయం ఏర్పాటుకు కేంద్రం ఆమోదం తెలిపింది. 2023-24 విద్యా సంవత్సరంలో యూనివర్సిటీలోకి ప్రవేశాలను అనుమతించాలి.
- ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ పునర్వ్యవస్థీకరణ చట్టం ప్రకారం గత ఉమ్మడి ఖమ్మం జిల్లాలో స్టీల్ ప్లాంట్ (బయ్యారం స్టీల్ ప్లాంట్) ఏర్పాటు చేస్తామని కేంద్రం హామీ ఇచ్చింది. తక్షణమే ప్రాజెక్టుకు అనుమతి ఇవ్వాలని ప్రధానిని కోరారు.
- భారతీయ రైల్వే కాజీపేటలో కోచ్ ఫ్యాక్టరీని ప్రకటించింది. అయితే కేంద్రం పీరియాడిక్ ఓవర్ హాలింగ్ వర్క్‌షాప్‌ను ఏర్పాటు చేస్తామని ప్రకటించింది. కోచ్ ఫ్యాక్టరీ నిర్మాణం హామీని నెరవేర్చాలని సీఎం, డిప్యుటీ సీఎం ప్రధాని మోదీని కోరారు.
- కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం 2010 లో బెంగుళూరు మరియు హైదరాబాద్‌లకు ITIR ప్రకటించింది. 2014 లో కేంద్రంలో ప్రభుత్వం మారిన తర్వాత హైదరాబాద్ రిటైర్ ప్రాజెక్ట్ మూలన పడింది. తక్షణమే హైదరాబాద్ రిటైర్ చేపట్టాలని ప్రధానమంత్రిని అభ్యర్థించారు.
- కాకతీయ మెగా టెక్స్‌టైల్ పార్క్‌ను గ్రీన్‌ఫీల్డ్ ప్రాజెక్ట్‌గా ప్రకటించి, తగినన్ని నిధులు విడుదల చేయాలి. పీఎం మిత్ర కింద గుర్తించిన ఏడు మెగా టెక్స్‌టైల్ పార్కుల్లో వరంగల్ లోని కాకతీయ టెక్స్‌టైల్ పార్క్‌ను బ్రౌన్‌ఫీల్డ్ పార్క్‌గా ప్రకటించారు కానీ తగినన్ని నిధులు ఇవ్వలేదు.
- ప్రతి రాష్ట్రంలో ఐఐఎం ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని కేంద్రం ప్రతిపాదించింది. తెలంగాణలో ఐఐఎం లేనందున కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం హైదరాబాద్‌లో ఒక ఐఐఎంను స్థాపించాలి. తగిన స్థలం ఇప్పటికే అందుబాటులో ఉంది. కేంద్రం కోరితే ఐఐఎం ఏర్పాటుకు అవసరమైనంత స్థలాన్ని సమకూర్చేందుకు రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం సిద్ధంగా ఉందన్నారు.
- రాష్ట్ర విభజన తర్వాత ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌కు రెండు సైనిక్ పాఠశాలలు మంజూరు చేయబడ్డాయి. సికింద్రాబాద్ కంటోన్మెంట్‌లో ఒక సైనిక్ స్కూల్ ఏర్పాటు చేయాలి.
- దక్షిణాది రాష్ట్రాలలో భారత సైన్యానికి ఒక్క ప్రధాన కార్యాలయం కూడా లేనందున పూణేలోని ప్రధాన కార్యాలయాన్ని సికింద్రాబాద్ కంటోన్మెంట్‌కు మార్చాలని కోరారు.
- ఏపీ పునర్వ్యవస్థీకరణ చట్టం ప్రకారం షెడ్యూల్ 9 కింద ప్రభుత్వ సంస్థల పెండింగ్ విభజన మరియు 10 వ షెడ్యూల్ కింద ఇతర సంస్థల సమస్యలను పరిష్కరించాలి.
